another win for too faced palettes

This summer eye collection is the most fun of all the too faced eye collections. I'm usually a little timid with bright colors and have prayed at the church of smokey eye for quite some time. This palette has beautiful spring colors that inspired me to experiment a little and try some new stuff! As always, Too Faced makes high quality shadows that are beautiful together or mixed and matched.

LOVE IT!

I really love this palette. I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and I got the very last one at my ULTA store. It is amazing! I get a lot of compliments when I create a look using the peach shade or the teal one. I actually created a Fall look using all of the brown shades from this palette and I have used the lighter shades in other looks. I just don't want to put it away and not use it until the Summer. However, it is really amazing for creating Summer looks. The peach/coral shade is not that pigmented but if you put it over an orange cream shadow/color tattoo/paintpot, it will work great! I hope they re-promote it because everyone should get their hands on it!

Fun for summer & especially for those who are new to makeup!

This palette is very fun to use and experiment with. The textures aren't incredibly soft but still give decent pigmentation and are quite easy to blend. The three largest shades (the highlight shades) are not especially pigmented except for the top one which is a soft shimmery pink similar to that of Urban Decay's Sin. The other two highlight shades are more shimmer-based rather than any real pigment. However, they shine in the light beautifully and really bring a lot of glow to to your look! The three colorful shades in the middle are nicely pigmented and are all contain some amount of shimmer. I love using the bright orange all over the lid and then using the dark turquoise as a liner. The right-most shades are all browns, one being a matte. They are all fabulous as crease shades. They have brilliant shimmer in them that will spice up any look, and they are very soft and easily blendable. Overall, most of these shades are very fun to experiment with and versatile for other seasons as well, especially with the brown shades.

I don't own this, but I have used it before and like all the other TooFaced palettes I absolutely adore it! The colors of the Summer Palette are fun and light which makes them perfect for any time. At first I was worried about the turquoise shade in the fashion look, but it is very subtle and looks amazing.

Not what I expected but ok.

I was really excited to get my hands on this palette, which had sold out almost everywhere, at IMATS last month, but the main color I bought it for isn't what I expected. When swatched the Coral shade, which I was dying to get my hands on, looked gorgeous and fun, but on my lids it looks orange and weird.

I love the mermaid shade and a few of the browns are amazing too. I haven't used the pinks at all, I'm not a huge fan of pink on my lids, but they look ok.

Overall I wouldn't recommend this palette, but I wouldn't knock it either. It's just an ok item. Not the best I have but not the worst either.

First Too Faced Palette

When I heard that Too Faced had a summer palette coming out I knew I just had to get my hands on it. I wasn't really a fan of the other Too Faced palettes because it was like all the other palettes I had already own but I love the colors in this one! The eyeshadows were very soft but not powdery and it was really easy to work with. After buying this palette I am absolutely in love with Too Faced cosmetics and I definitely plan on collecting their palettes!

Lovey Love

I love this product! Colors are beautiful. The mermaid color is worth it all. But I have fallen Head over heels for Sugar Sand. I wear it alone or as a highlighter under my brow bone. You must buy!

Pretty!

I love the colors they chose for this palette. One downside is the lighter color are the east pigmented, and the ones they give you the most of. I also really do not like the teal color. It just isn't what i expected it to be and turns into a weird muddy grey color on the lid. The whole first and second row are great and i love the third row besides the teal. Even thought the three lighter shades aren't that pigmented, they still are very pretty and give subtle shimmer which is great for hilighting.

Amazing Colours

I was watching some makeup videos on youtube and one guru mentioned this palette and I instantly needed it in my life. I picked it up the next day at Sephora and I love everything about it. The pigmentation is amazing, as usual for Too Faced and the colours are absolutely perfect for this season, the coral and the teal Mermaid colours are worth it for this palette alone! I can't wait to experiment some more and I'm sure it will be just as useful as the Too Faced Natural palette, which I seem to keep coming back to regularly. There is definitely fun to be had playing around with this!
