Gorgeous Non-Comedogenic Formula

I use the Traceless Soft Matte Foundation and absolutely love it. I decided to purchase this one in the shade 'Nutmeg' to use as a contour stick as TOM FORD complexion products never break me out. And this DID. NOT. disappoint. It blends like a dream, is highly pigmented, stays in place, and blurs imperfections. I am seriously in awe by the formulation.

I also love the packaging, it is thick and sturdy. And the stick formulation allows you to throw it in any bag or travel with it, without worrying about it leaking everywhere.

Seriously, the cream formulation is SO easy to work with and this is a new favorite makeup product for me!

Not up to the usual standard...

The product is fussy to apply for a stick foundation. Avoid using a brush if you have any surface dryness. It went on much better with a freshly cleaned (thoroughly-blotted!) sponge but you'll have to keep going over areas where creases form until it sets. The finish is a nice satin-matte with medium coverage, but it's not as elegant as TF liquid foundations. I don't use primer but it plays well with chemical sunscreen. It doesn't like powder much but it doesn't need it. It wears well with minimal touch-ups once it's in place. If you have oily skin this might be quite good for you. For the price, I'm underwhelmed...

Favorite stick foundation!

I have tried many stick foundations over the years and nothing tops Tom Ford's formula. I wish the price wasn't so high but I will say that there's a lot more product in this stick than most. The majority of stick foundations only contain 8 to 10 grams of product. This one is almost double that amount. I did struggle with finding the correct shade since I'm nowhere near a store that carries it. I started out with 5.5 Bisque but it was too olive and a little too dark so I got 2.5 Linen which matches me perfectly.

I love this stick formula!

I got the shades 2.5 Linen as well as 5.5 Bisque. This glides on and spreads easier than my Hourglass foundation sticks and has less coverage unless layered. The finish is natural and not too matte.

BEST BEST BEST

Best foundation I've ever used. It melts so seamlessly into your skin that its basically sorcery and witchcraft. It hurts having to buy a foundation that is so damn expensive, but boy is it worth it!

Thank God for flex pay and sales.

Aside from the outrageous price, My only two tiny gripes:

1) No matter how careful I am about rolling the foundation down, somehow it always gets a smudge of foundation on the inner top of the lid. (Stupid nitpicky gripe, but I digress)

2) In my experience, the shade range in this particular line seems to run VERY VERY LIGHT. Im usually somewhere on the lightest spectrum in other brands. Unfortunately, due to the covid restrictions requesting samples has been impossible.

The quest to find the correct number that I need using online guessing games and research has been a real royal PIA.

Lots of purchasing and exchanging thru the mail. Theres a ton of options and range here, which is kind of a double-edged sword when you're trying them on blind online.

I have to buy two-so double ouch! 1 for summer/tanning and one for lighter winter mos.

I've tried .5, 2.0 and even 3.5 and they make me look like a ghost which is crazy, bc again I'm normally pretty pale.

So lest yee be warned! opt to go for the darker option, if you're on the fence between which shades to pick. Its pretty forgiving.

I can get away with using 3.5 during summer with a lot of bronzer

Now with that being said, the natural finish, the texture and coverage is so perfect, it is testament to my determination in finding the perfect winter and summer shades in this foundation damnit!

The twisty top packaging is portable, and decent in quality and durability.

So Thrilled! It Exceeded my Great Expectations!

I have to start by saying I'd had this foundation on my wishlist for a while-and especially after trying different products from TF and hearing great things about the finish and formula I was excited to try it. This is actually the first stick foundation I have ever tried. I feel like foundation/complexion besides skincare and brushes of course is a great thing to invest in when you find a formula of exquisite quality that works for you. I am so glad I now have this in my rotation. Firstly, it is a really forgiving formula(you can really feel that your skin is revitalized from using it and you can tell that the formula is luxurious, antioxidant rich) The application is so easy-you only need light application out from the center of the face-it blends SO beautifully! I have several Wayne Goss foundation/complexion brushes to reach for, and I used a combination of my #1 foundation brush and my fan brush(the thicker one from the Synthetic set) after that I simply pressed it into the skin to warm it up a bit. I absolutely love the coverage. It is a very, very natural semi-matte-and it really melds with the skin. It gives me gorgeous coverage and does not emphasize my pores/texture or any fine lines. It is very smoothing which I absolutely love. It really gives you a flawless finish that looks like beautiful skin. It's actually radiant without being thick or heavy in any way. I used it with the TF Illuminating Primer -fabulous!

Flawless!

This is by far my favorite foundation I have ever used. My favorite previousoy was Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk and I find this foundation to be even more weightless and more flawless than that. I use a Beauty Blender for application and this foundation makes my skin perfect and glowy. Is it worth $87 - YES!

Natural (looks good on skin) great for normal to dry skin types.

I think this is a natural beautiful foundation and my pores looked softened, but it really didn't give me the coverage I was hoping for. So I had to send it back. If your looking for something quick and natural and feels great and moisturizing on the skin and you have great skin and don't need alot of coverage then this is for you. You can build coverage with this foundation but that's alot of product and money, in the end it's what your looking for and how much you want to spend.

Gorgeous finish!

I picked up this foundation in Natural last week for a wedding. I'd heard so much about how beautiful and natural it looks on the skin and after lusting after it for a full year I figured it was time. I was not prepared to fall completely in love with it. After application I kept looking at my skin trying to figure out where the foundation had gone to. My skin looked flawless but I couldn't see the foundation what so ever. It was amazing! Life changing! Yes it's expensive but trust me when I say it's breathtakingly gorgeous on the skin. I loved it so much I picked up the color Bisque too which had I find suits my NC 30 completion a bit better right now. I can get away with Natural no problem but as of right now I like using it a bit like a highlighter along with Bisque.

85 dollars for a foundation sounds crazy... until you try it. This is everything I always wanted out of a stick foundation. It has a lovely dewy finish, great coverage and most importantly- it looks like skin. It's quick and easy to apply- dot it on (little goes a long way) and blend. I like to use a buffing brush if I'm going for more coverage or my Beauty Blender if I want a more natural look. I will never use another stick foundation. This puts the others to shame. I appreciate that TF has a good shade selection and a great undertone selection. I'm a true neutral and it can be a challenge finding a shade that isn't too pink or yellow.
