gorgeous

Absolutely gorgeous color caviar is. Its the perfect smokey blue/steel grey with subtle shimmer. Im a pale skinned blue eyed girl. I never would have tried this color, if I didn't get a sample from Nordstrom way back when. When you first put it on your brush- DONT PANIC, it looks really dark at first. Just keep blending and it sheers out perfectly. In fact I take it almost all the way to the brow bone for a day appropriate editorial look.

Don't miss out on this shade, it is so worth it. I've been neglecting my palettes lately for this shade. You can easily layer it too.

Beautiful workhorse

I'm late to the party but crazy about these cream shadows. I have Opale, Pink Haze (in the Golden Peach duo), Platinum, and Spice (in the Naked Bronze duo) and I honestly can't say which is my favorite. Since sheltering-in-place started I've been wearing Opale alone for "no makeup" Zooming - it's also lovely with other colors. I've probably worn Platinum most often for quick work days and the way Golden Peach looks never fails to make me happy. Bottom line: these are gorgeous in every way for my mature eyes.

Quick one minute eyeshadow looks.

When I see 6+ eyeshadow palettes, I often got confused what color goes first to layer. I bought Platinum, Opal and Golden Peach to use interchangeably when I’m rushing to go to work/do makeup during work break time. The colors I mentioned above adds dimension to my hooded monolid even used alone. These colors, worn individually, suitable for my conservative work environment. I’ve removed my eyeshadow palette and brushes from my work/travel makeup bag for these cream eyeshadows. As long as you have wipes or hand sanitizer handy to clean your fingers, this eyeshadow will save you time. No fallout, minimal crease even without primer for 8 hours! On days when I’m obligated to work 12+ hours, I can simply add another layer to my worn out shadows and I’m good to go! Do remember that this review is for those who work indoors with AC or central air. I wouldn’t take these cream shadows when I know the environment will be hazardous (extreme, unpredictable temperature changes).

Spice was the first one I bought and then immediately got platinum when I tried the formula. Cream eye shadow can be tough. It can crease, travel. Not this one. It stays exactly where you place it. It’s so pretty underneath the Tom Ford powder quads, especially Nude Dip for a more dramatic look. When you apply the cream, work quickly because they dry down. I love them on the lower lash line too for a smokey eye look.

Beautful!

Ok, after being disappointed with the fairly expensive "The Good Stuff" by May Lindstrom, I am thrilled to say how happy I am with this product! I love this shadow. The formulation is wonderful, creamy, blends well and quite easily. I am loving this platinum color and it seems like it would work for ANY eye color (I happen to have green eyes). The one issue I do have though is it's lasting power. I'll put it on in the morning, and by lunchtime(?), it needs to be reapplied because much of it has somewhat disappeared. I love it enough to reapply though. Looking forward to gettIng Spice and Burnished Copper next. I read a review that said Burnished Copper looks magnificent on green eyes🙂 I'd also like to try Opal for the inner corners of the eyes. One thing I do though is, after I've applied this Platinum shadow, I also take a shinier, shimmier color (or even highlighter) and put it over the shadow just in the center of the kid. Perfection👌 Just makes the shadow (and the eyes) pop that much more. Overall, other than the lack of staying power, I really do love this shadow. I've been wearing it almost every day since I got it!

Love this product!

These are amazing creme eye shadows! Sphinx is simply gorgeous. I tried this color on my hand to get a sense of the texture and pigment. WOW! If felt like silk and had this subtle opalescent color that made me gasp out loud (seriously). You can apply it with your ring finger or brush. Loved it so much I bought Spice. This combo will look great for summer! Footnote: I also purchased TF Paridisio blush and highlighter.

My favorite cream shadows

I wear platinum, opale, and burnished copper on a regular basis. Also regularly wear naked bronze and young Adonis. I love burnished copper and naked bronze layered together - gorgeous for hazel or brown eyes! I own several other high-end brands of cream shadows and Tom Ford's are head and shoulders above the others in terms of color pay-off, texture, longevity, and amount of product for price. A little goes a long way with these, especially the darker shades. I find they last longer without eyeshadow primer, and also do not settle into creases. I work 12 hours a day running sweatily around a hospital, and when I get home my shadow is just where I put it that morning. Bought a backup of opale already. Tom Ford just seems to be an all-around makeup genius.

This formula is one of the best I have tried. It's creamy and blends effortlessly, yet still manages to last all day without creasing. Platinum is the shade I wear the most - it is a gorgeous taupe that is perfect for day or night!
