Exceeded my expectations

I was expecting terrific formulation from this and it exceeded that. My first eye duo purchase was Black Sands and I love how it just melts onto my eyes and blends effortlessly. I’m a busy lady and time isn’t always on my side, so I’m super impressed how I can literally look like I’ve spent a long time getting ready when it’s only taken me a few minutes. The cream color brings out my hazel/green eyes and the gold gives a sparkle but not in a tacky way, it’s a sophisticated, classy sparkle. I can’t believe I waited so long to purchase this but glad I did! Tom Ford is my beauty bae!

Quick Smokey Eye

I really love this product! The black cream already has a nice gold shimmer going throughout it, but when you add the powder on top it almost turns the shade into this really nice smoky green color. You can start it off sheer but depending on what brush you use you can build it up to be a solid color.

Beautiful, but not worth the $65

I love TF products and I really enjoy their cream eyeshadows (as well as their powder quads). I had this in and out of my cart so many times, along with the bronze one. While I don't regret the purchase, it really isn't that special. As another commenter said, this is great for creating a sophisticated look on the go (for travel- remember when we could do that?) but for home it would be better to buy a quad for the money. I completely agree. While the base peach/pink is sophisticated, lovely and easy to apply- I can't help but feel I have this shade in about a million other palettes at home. I just purchased PML Divine Rose II and I feel that this is sort of a dupe of her shades. The payoff of the shimmer on top is fine. It's not PML or ND fabulous.. it is just a bit of sparkle. The whole look is extremely subdued, which is fine. It's very beautiful. It just doesn't merit $65. I have the quads which are $80 (or $88?) and they give me so much more product to play with. Or if you want something beautiful and shimmery - the duochromes in PML mothership palettes are amazing (not so travel friendly, but so much more to play with for less than the price of two of these TF products) and even the ND palettes give more. Again, it's pretty and in these tricky times lacking beauty and fun, it made me happy, so that's great. But if you are on the fence, this is a hard pass, check out one of TF pigmented and stunning quads or if you're into the sparkles... go with PML.. those are legendary and buildable.

Great cream shadow, lackluster gold powder shadow

I'm mixed raced and so my skin tone is light-medium / medium skin tone leaning warm yellow with olive undertones. Once I started having kids, I had no time to blend 4-5 different eyeshadow colors to achieve a beautiful eye look. I needed that simple 1-2 eyeshadow color and be done before the kids start raiding my makeup drawer. So of course I had to try Tom Ford's cream eye colors since they are quick to use and are beautiful. The texture of the shadow is like a light moose. It feels even more airy and moose-like than his other JUST cream shadows (which I have and love). I gave it 4 stars because the gold powder shade became hard panned quickly so I hardly ever use it. The cream shade is a wonderful all over lid color, but for the price (I thought I was saving money by getting the powder/cream combo) I would rather buy Tom Ford cream shadows and not the powder/cream combo since the powder shade was lackluster for me.

Didn’t stay on my lids

Bad eyeshadow. Moves on your eyelids and get into your eyes. Not worth it the color pay off is not there. Don’t waste your money

Horrible

This shadow I was hoping would show up, but it wasn’t even worth putting on. My mom used it and it stung her eyes. Never buying anymore Tom ford stuff. Not worth it.

Perfect when I am in a rush

This has become my go to product for days that I am in a rush but still want an eye look. I have hooded textured eyes and love how this looks. I use the cream all over my lid and crease (applied with fingers) and then use the Sonia G builder 2 to pack the powder shade on my lid. It's super sparkly and beautiful. I haven't had any issues with fall out or creasing, but it does fade after about 8 hours. There is still some sparkle but it's lighter. It's beautiful, wearable and easy to use! I think you can't go wrong with these!

A different blue!

In love with this shade. I have other colors of this same product. The product itself is so luxurious and works beautifully. Very easy to apply. I use my fingers but you can definitely use a brush and build it up as desired for more intensity. My collection is big enough and I don’t have a shade even similar to this one. The color is very unique and I’m sure will look beautiful on any skin tone.

Perfect Spring Color

This is my second color of the Tom Ford Cream and Powder duo. The cream product applies effortless onto the lids and it adds a hint of peach on the lids. The cream base is extremely creamy and easy to blend out. To add a little bit more bling to the lids, you can put the "powder" portion of the duo. The powder is more gritty and I personally wouldn't suggest wearing it alone, unlike the cream. The powder is, in my opinion, straight up glitter that brings a little bit more life to the cream product.
