Sheer cream

Don't let the photoshopped swatch fool you. Despite looking like a very intense purple (I got Glamour Eyes), the cream is actually quite dewy and sheer (very similar to the lid lacquer but not as glossy) so it's more wearable that you might think. Also, as long as you don't apply a lot of product, it doesn't crease, which is quite remarkable for such a creamy product. As for the topper. It does actually have a base pigment (so you can wear it on its own) and it looks prettier on the eyes than in a swatch. That being said, I compared it to similar shades in my collection and it's not as special as them. It's nowhere near as sparkly as VR Violet from Pat McGrath. The purple base is murkier and the shimmer is less blue than in Nabla's Alchemy, therefore, it stands out less. The closest shadow I could find was Colourpop's Glass Bull. It shares its murky base but, again, there is a bigger contrast between the base and shimmer in Glass Bull (however, the one in Glamour Eyes is a lot more multidimensional). I still gave it four stars because it IS a good product, nonetheless, the packaging is cute and convenient AND I bought it on sale. I don't think it's worth buying it full price since there is a lot less product than in a Tom Ford cream and powder duo (less than half the amount).

Beautiful Colors

I live pinks and purples because they look great with my green eyes. I loved the look of this color duo and bought it. Surratt has the reputation for quality makeup and one more time they lived up to their name. These shadows apply beautifully, lasted 14 hours and did not crease on my aging eyes. Obviously, I am very happy with my purchase. I will certainly recommend this to others.

Great for quick every day looks!

I really like this duo - especially for quick every day looks!

The cream shadow is smooth and creamy, and blends out well, but isn't the most pigmented cream shadow I own. While some may look at this as a negative, I actually appreciate the fact that it isn't overly pigmented as it makes applying this a breeze and relatively foolproof. It is very user friendly and makes a great "day" look.

The shimmery top coat added a beautiful finish and complimented the olive-y green base nicely. I stupidly applied it with a brush the first time and got a ton of glittery fallout. I would recommend using a finger to apply the top coat. If you have oily skin/eyelids, I would also recommend wearing a eyeshadow primer underneath with this, to both boost the color payoff a bit and ensure the shadow stays put.

Overall, this will definitely be a staple in my collection and I'm already looking to buy other shades. Since the application is so easy, I know I can bust out a great eye look with some depth in no time.
