Good foundation, still transfer like a cheap foundation.

I like this foundation a lot. It’s good that it has good coverage, doesn’t feel dry on my dry skin and the rubycell puff didn’t swallow too much foundation, so minimal product waste and you wont accidentally apply too much products on your face.

Now, dock 1 star because it has transfer issue. I have a few cheaper cushion foundations that transfer, that said, for $80 this should not happen.

The transfer is pretty significant where I have to be careful not to accidentally touch parts of my face where the foundation is applied. I avoid using setting powder because the setting powder I have doesn’t agree with the formula of this foundation and causes cakey-ness and settle into my fine lines.

Despite this issue I’m still giving it 4 stars because unlike other cushion that costs more and comes with no refill, I get good mileage from this. 3 months of daily use plus daily touch ups is pretty good for the first cushion (you get an extra cushion refill for total of 2.). For $80 you still get 6 months supply of foundation. Shame it transfers soo much.

BEAUTIFUL foundation
Photo of product included with review by S S.

This is my new favorite foundation. I have everything from high end to drugstore. And every one settles into fine lines and accentuates my texture, EXCEPT this one. I can wear it all day and it stays beautiful. It covers all my redness but looks just like skin. I have fine lines, heavy lines and rough texture. I have been wearing it without a primer or setting powder. I find that I don't need it. This is gorgeous, I can't believe that I haven't heard about this brand before. I was actually shopping for another brand when I got curious and started looking at brands I have never used, lol. Please excuse the hair and no eye makeup in the photo all I have on is the foundation.

Perfect for travel!

I got this product specifically for traveling. The experts at Beautylish helped me pick the correct shade by comparing the shades to foundations I already had and they got it right on the nose. When the foundation came, I was looking at the outside box and thinking wow, that's bigger than I thought it would be, but when I opened it up, I was quite pleased to see that it included a refill, which was a very nice bonus. Applying the product is a snap, it is truly a liquid foundation held by a compact sponge and then applied with a "puff." It blends like a charm and with one application provides what I would call medium coverage. It's easy to build for areas that need a little more coverage. The foundation also has some SPF as well although I still use a sunscreen underneath. I've used the foundation a couple of times and it has a very nice finish, not too dewy or shiny, and it lasts quite well without the need for touch-ups. We leave for our trip in 2 days and I'm thrilled to be taking this with me. There will be no spills, no mess, and I'm going to look my best!

Poor shade range

Would love to try this product, but unfortunately, shade range is lacking for women of color. Shame.

Lightweight but with coverage

I have worn Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk for a long time. This foundation is similar to Luminous Silk in the way it feels (lightweight, not heavy, hydrating, not greasy), but it has a little more coverage and wears longer. The coverage is surprising considering how light the foundation feels as it goes on. It leaves a beautiful finish: glowy without being shiny, and even all over. I find myself skipping under eye concealer when I wear this foundation (it does crease slightly under the eye, but this could probably be solved with a setting powder). The shade I received was lighter than the description led me to believe. I wear 5.25 in Luminous Silk and ordered Deep Beige, which is almost too light for me. Order darker than the description says you need. Overall I am very happy with this foundation.

As some other reviewers have mentioned, the shades are lighter than described - should've bought the Deep Beige instead. I personally don't like this product at all, it doesn't cover as much as I would've liked, and it doesn't seem to last long on my face either - even after I set it with powder :( It is a no for me.

If you are used to a 'medium' shade in most other foundations, you'll find this one is much lighter. I'll be able to use this in the winter, but have to purchase 25 Deep Beige for summer (and I always wear SPF 50 and a hat). The foundation has lasted a full 10 hours without getting oily and that's a big plus.

beautiful

I really like the full coverage this foundation gives and the luminous finish. I just wish you would sell the replacement puffs! I would use a puff a couple of times and then just discard it. They are very thin and even though you can clean them I prefer not to I prefer to just replace the puffs. I have used the foundation twice and so far so good it lasted several hours and will be the one that I continue to reach for.

I like the concept of the Perfecting Cushion, but the Medium Beige 23 is much lighter than I thought. I will continue to use it, but next time I will choose a darker shade. I would like to try Medium Beige 25.

Shades seem lighter than the description. I have light to medium asian skin and the medium beige was lighter than my skin. Also this clings to dry patches. But other than that I like everything else about it.
