Palette is better than I ever dreamed!

This palette is absolutely beautiful! The colors are vibrant but so blendable that all the colors could be used for everyday wear. Add to that I found the packaging simple but beautiful. I got it on sale so that made it even better. Swatches at http://amberlikes.blogspot.com/2011/12/stila-warehouse-sale-haul-swatches.html

A great little palette

The shadows in this palette are typical of most Stila shadows - incredibly soft, pigmented, and flawlessly blendable. If you can get your hands on this little palette it is totally worth it. The shadows are all easy to use colors, with Flamingo being a nice addition to brighten a look up and Pacific and Coal being perfect for a smoky/darkened look. Be wary of fallout on the darker shades though - these can go on a bit powdery until you blend them into the skin. Also, I would recommend a sticky base if you use Flamingo, Pacific, or Coal on the lid or under the eyes because this will make the true color pop and help them last. The other three shades are great alone.

The two on the bottom left (Luster and Poetic) do not look that original, in fact don't look that much different from each other but when you use them together - Poetic on the lid and Luster in the crease - you would be surprised the contour that you are able to get, it is just beautiful.

pigmented, gorgeous colors & a super steal for 14$ (when I got it)

I have nothing negative to say about this palette other than maybe its packaging. It feels like it's made out of paper and cardboard which isn't very sturdy for constant use and wear, but I don't really find that a problem. It'll be fine if you are gentle with it. Otherwise, the colors of this palette make it one of my favorites.

Chiffon - pale peachy pink with buttery application Flamingo - bright pink with a very light purple sheen similar to OCC's Noise Pacific - nice blue with a brighter blue sheen to it; isn't as pigmented as I'd like it to be Luster - very pretty duochrome that is like a berry purple; has a golden sheen under light Poetic - mauve lavender Coal - pretty blue with teal sheen under light

I love the bottom three shades of the palette, they're very pigmented, have wonderful application and are so different from anything else I own. Luster doesn't look like anything special in the pan, but can be very pretty on the skin. The attached photo is Luster, Poetic & Coal swatched to show you how the last three shades can appear under lighting.
