Single Eye Shadow

i got mine on sale for $10 each. They're really nice, I don't know about any kind of reformulation but i know that the ones I got are great! I needed a new taupe and Cinnamon Toast was great for a one-swipe-and-blend look.

When Smashbox reformulated their eye shadows I was a little skeptical. I mean why mess with perfection. I will miss my Etch eye shadow (R.I.P) however the new colors are so beautiful and silky. Cinnamon Toast is great for an every day taupe. Just be careful to tap the color on because they will flake.

I absolutely love this shade -- it's not too shimmery and it doesn't drop glitter everywhere like some of the eye shadows I've used. I typically use one sweep over my eyelids and then finish it off with a little bit of liquid eyeliner for more definition.

These eyeshadows are incredibly, dare I say better than MAC? They're SO pigmented and SO rich in color. They're easy to blend, they're not chalky, they're fairly priced. You really can't go wrong.

I'm a big fan of Smashbox eyeshadows. I only have one single eyeshadow and the eyewish palette. I mostly prefer Smashbox shadows over other brands because the colors appeal to me. I think I would get the most use of their shades.

Just by looking at the colors at the Sephora, I knew right away that I would be purchasing Cabernet. It's a great maroon/plum color. It has some shimmer but it is very subtle and wearable.
