Hope In A Jar

I had read some bad reviews about this product right after I bought it, and I was expecting not to like it. BUT I loved it. The smell is not that bad... I have tried some skin care products that smell worse. And after a couple of uses, I got used to it.

I have oily skin, and I noticed that I do not need to use a lot of this product to get it to moisturize my skin properly. I dab a few on my cheeks and forehead and then massage it into my skin.

I have been using it for just a little over a week, and I have already noticed and felt a difference in the texture of my skin. It is so soft! I highly recommend this product.

Okay, the smell isn't that great, but I could not care less as this is the only moisturizer I've found that keeps away dry patches in the winter while also being light enough for use in the summer. At $78 for 4 oz it's more than a splurge but the jar lasts me around 8 months with near-daily use so it's a purchase I can justify.

I'm really glad I bought the smallest size to try this pout before I splurged on the bigger jar. I really feel like product is almost water based. It really does not do a great job at moisturizing. I actually went right to my Sephora Instant Moisture moisturizer to fulfill my needs!!! So all in all, this product does not suit my needs. I'm personally better off with the Sephora brand.

Sorry Philosophy, this is a miss! I bought this product thinking that it would be a great moisturizer but, it just sat on the top of my skin. I also am not found of the scent. I had hope for it, but it just didn't work for me at all.

I bought this because of the great reviews. I wanted to start taking care of my skin so I spent about $70 for this...the cleanser and the night cream. I have been using this on and off because it's hard to use a product on a daily basis when you hate the smell of it. The smell is really strong (reminds me of hair dye). For the price I was expecting to see more drastic results. However I do feel that it helped to lighten a small sun spot that I have on my face. Overall I think that there are better products out there. If you want soft skin at a cheap price then look into Nivea Soft. If you want to see amazing results and you are willing to spend a couple hundred dollars then check out Chanel's skincare line...even a sample will rock your world. I wouldn't purchase this again..not even if it smelled better..for that much money I expected more.

I won't argue that this is a great product, it definitely hydrates my skin without breaking me out but I can't stand the smell. The consistency of this face lotion is unlike any other I've used before, it's very watery but at the same time creamy, kind of like broken up yogurt. When I smooth it on my face it feels like water but my skin soaks it up immediately. However, the smell is terrible. It has this strong herbal scent that is probably the only con to this lotion. So if you can stand strong herbal scents, then this is a great face lotion, but if you're like me there are definitely lotions out there that do just as good a job without the smell.

but i wish it was not in a jar lol i wish it was a pump or something because I dont like putting in my fingers inside it and it dries up that way.

I have sensitive skin and love this moisturizer! I had the worst case of wind burn and was advised to try this moisturizer. It healed my face completely and really helped keep my face from becoming dry during the long winter. It is a life saver for me and a little product goes a long way.

I bought it in a set. And it's one of the only two products I use from the whole set. It's a good moisturizer. But I have pretty neutral skin.

I heard all the chatter about how great of a moisturizer it was suppose to be. OMG! Not for my dry skin. It did nothing to add moisture to my skin at all. I had to use another moisturizer after using it.
