Great quality flat iron, polishes and shines!
As far as hair styling goes, you could say I'm more of a lazy-style type of gal. My hair is very straight and stubborn, so much that curling tools and curlers of all sorts don't work on my hair. A few years ago I got sucked into buying a flat iron from a mall kiosk, which has been my trusty hair styling tool ever since. I use it to polish my already straight hair, and on certain occasions I love to create tight curls or even soft flowy curls with my flat iron. The past couple of months I've been using a new flat iron from NuMe, the Couture style.
I love that this flat iron has a swivel cord, it's extremely comfortable to use and there's never any tangling with the cord while using it. I like that I can adjust the heat, which is important for me - I use 140 to straighten my hair and up to 410 to curl it. The ceramic plates keep my hair polished and shiny after using the flat iron, some days I just lightly curl my hair for some texture and leave out the hair spray to keep the beautiful shine the Couture leaves behind. I really like that it heats up within two minutes - super fast and easy, which is very helpful when my daughter only gives me a small window of time to get ready. Most of all, I LOVE the packaging! The box it comes in is very sturdy and you can store your flat iron in it without it warping or falling apart (which happened with the box my other flat iron came in). I still store mine in the box it came in, keeps it nice and tidy. Oh, and I can't forget to mention, the cord has a Velcro wrap to keep the cord wrapped up so you're not inclined to wrap it around the flat iron - which is a BIG No-No!
The only thing I did not like about the Couture flat iron, is every 15mins or so it makes a soft humming noise that only lasts for about 15 seconds. The flat iron doesn't look damaged, it's not over heating and the casing doesn't get too hot - so I'm not sure if the humming is just on my flat iron or the Couture style itself.
