Description

nubar celebrates ten years of creating safe and innovative nail lacquers free of DBP (phthalate), formaldehyde, and toluene with nubar 2010. This fantastic shade consists of flakes of reflective glitter in a polychromatic base, and displays its many shades when worn alone as a sheer polish or layered over other nubar nail lacquers for a dramatic effect. The limit to nubar 2010's possibilities is your imagination!

Nail Art July Day 10. Starfish. So, for this challenge I decided to do a jelly sandwich with glitter on three of the nails, and paint a starfish on the other two. I know the starfish came out pretty bad. x) But practice does makes perfect! For the nails with the glitter jelly sandwich I used Loreal Miss Pixie, Sinful Colors Lush Life, Nubar 2010, Zoya Gilty & Zuza. For the base of the starfish nails, I did a gradient using SpaRitual Sacred Sands & China Glaze Angel Wings. After I allowed the gradient to dry a little, I painted the deformed starfish using acrylic paint. Then, after I allowed the paint to dry a little I added one coat of Orly Shine On Crazy Diamond. ^_^ I really love how the nails with the glittery jelly sandwich came out. *_* So pretty. So, one of my supporters from facebook.com/BeautyByPapaya requested that I do a Rock-N-Roll themed mani so, I DID! :) This hand features a music sheet finger, a Rolling Stones themed finger which i had A LOT of fun doing, and the British flag to represent The Beatles. My other hand does feature an ACDC themed nail, an Elvis themed nail, and a guitar however, I'm still working on doing details on my right hand with my left sooooo.... I won't post that one til then! Enjoy!

I searched everywhere for Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure but I'm glad I found this less expensive dupe instead. This is Nubar 2010 over a regular black nail polish. I adore it. It's the best flakie I own. It flashes red, orange and green when over black. Love love. I'll have to layer it over other colors soon.
