Incredible Pigmentation!

I have completely fallen in love with Galapagos, which is a rich bronze with beautiful golden flecks, not chunks of glitter but a very mature sparkle. And Mekong, which is a beautiful espresso color infused with the same lovely shimmer in gold.

They can both be paired together to create a beautiful, dramatic smokey eye without using black. I personally love creating a smokey eye using brown, especially using dark espresso colors like Mekong in the outer V to really make it pop followed by lining my lash line with Urban Decay's Glide-On Eye Pencil in Bourbon! I love many other NARS products, and I can officially say I can add these two to that long list as well. The pigmentation is incredible and I do not feel that these colors can be duped which is why I believe it is worth the steep $23 price tag!

i LOVE LOVE LOVE this blue... it's the best blue shadow I own. I used this today and i used it on my bottom lash line and it gave me a pop of color and awake. I think this would be so pretty on the top lid and blend it with a soft brown if I were to go to out and want to add drama. Nars products blend so seamlessly and are also very buildable. The products also last me awhile (a little goes a long way!)

Give it a whirl!!

I'm a big fan of Nars and I can say that Strada(I call it my L.A Laker color) is one of my fave purples to use, highly pigmented and super blendable and a color you can take from day to evening...very carefully i love the gold shimmers in it too;)

Ashes to Ashes is a shimmery taupe color that goes on sheer and feels super silky on the skin when applied. It's great for a daytime smokey eye. The shadow is very pigmented and the texture is creamy, not powdery. Very blendable.

I think Nars has probably the best eyeshadows when it comes to pigmentation and probably the best browns I ever used! Mekong, Galapagos. MY fave out of them is definitely Strada which that is the most unusual purple I have found there is no dupes so you have to pay the steep $22-$23 to get it and the gold glitter really makes the color different from a normal lavender light purple to a complete other color

These are the best eyeshadows I've ever used. They are so pigmented, I will recommend them to anyone, these are the only eyeshadows that my hairdresser uses on her clients now, they are perfection.

I love this color! Its perfect for the crease and I LOVE THE SHIMMER, perfect for a neutral eye! The NARS eyeshadows are very easy to blend and very pigmented. The gold and the brown are such a perfect combo. Perfect for school makeup! (:

I love using Ondine as an all over lid color and it has become a crucial part of my favorite eye look. I apply any pearly flesh tone color as my highlight/brow bone color and apply MAC's FIG. 1 (a matte purple shade) to achieve my favorite smoky eye.

Prior to my discovery of Ondine, I would say my go to color was MAC's Satin Taupe, a usual favorite of among several Youtubers and Beauty Bloggers. There is definitely a similarity between the two but I personally prefer the NARS one. I feel Ondine achieves a more vibrant color application and I just prefer the quality of NARS.

NARS eyeshadows are pretty pricey, especially considering the fact that they look so tiny. However, they are slightly bigger than MAC eyeshadows and the packaging's quality (a mini version of a NARS blush) is far superior.

I own one of these (in Daphne) and a palette that came with the NARS fanatic set from Sephora. I don't have any issues with these shadows! Well that's not entirely true, Daphne is really difficult to swatch. It comes out splotchy and weird, BUT when applied with a brush, it smooths out and looks beautiful. The palette came with 5 of the powder shades and a cream shades (don't remember the names, sorry) one was matte, two were glittery, and two where satin. The glitter ones were a tad hard to work with, and had a little bit of fallout, but besides that they were lovely. The colors were beautiful and easy to blend and use together. I would totally recommend these shadows!
