Good Product, Bad Color Selection On My Part

I bought this product after reading an article on Beautylish about how to make purple blush work for you (it's called Turning Violet, if you're interested in reading it). I was intrigued by the concept, and was at the MAC counter when I came across it. It looked crazy in the pot, and crazy swatched, so I didn't get it. Cut to a few hours later when I was at home re-reading the article... I ordered it. I am very easily persuaded, clearly. I do like this product, and I think that my apprehension about using it more often is due to the color I bought. It is just so different from what I usually use on either my cheeks or my lips. The product itself leaves me pretty glowy/dewy when I use it as a blush, which I'm not the biggest fan of but I can powder it down easily. I think I would like that type of finish more in a more natural color. It is so lightweight and moisturizing on my lips, and I really like it for that. Also, I find the color to be less scary on my lips. I think there's only 1 color left on the MAC website, so I will probably pick it up so that I have one that is less intimidating and more natural. As far as wear goes, it's a very long lasting product, even on the lips, and a little goes a long way. And I mean A LONG way.

Pros: Long Lasting Easy to use/Multi-Use Lightweight Moisturizing

Cons: Evening Stroll is not for the faint of heart Limited Edition

Has a great dewey finish.

I have to try really hard NOT to reach for this product when I do my make-up in the morning for the sake of using my other blushes. I don't really like/use this on my lips but I LOVE it on my cheeks. It is a little sticky but I can get past it because of how great it looks. You really don't need a highlighter with this blush since it already leaves your skin with a nice glow. However, it doesn't feel nice on my lips and the color just goes on weird. This one is strictly blush for me.

Perfect summer cream blush for dark skin

OK, so I am a NW45, and if you are anywhere near my shade, you may not feel confident wearing a cream blush or a cream blush that is so pink and light. But don't overlook this product because you are DEAD WRONG. I love this product and I have been using it all summer long. It's so easy to apply and it gives that glowy look that you often find on brides in bridal magazines or when magazines do a beach photo shoot where the girl skins looks wet and moist, better yet, J.LO's skin, because J.LO loves that glowy skin like in "I'm into you" video. You can use one finger, rub it around the pot, and dab it on your cheekbone. Then once you are done with that, you can use 3 fingers and press it down onto you skin. It is such a light and great product. I will recommend this one. I'm very glad with this purchase.

Love it

I'm usually not a fan of bright purple lips but I tried this and I loved it. The texture is really smooth, not sticky. It was pretty long wearing. You can add a liner to change the color . On the cheeks its gorgeous. Use a duo fibre brush when applying on the cheeks and just blend away.
