Candy Eyed Eyeshadow Helper Eyelid Primer

good value

I actually really like the primer. Its color in the pot is nude, but applies clear once you rub it on. A little bit goes a very long way and it works great as a sticky base. Using too much can lead to some eyeshadow migration throughout the day. I absolutely love the packaging it comes in, the box and the actual primer's, especially the really cute bow decal on the top of the cap. Some people might complain that it is not in the most sanitary packaging, but I don't mind it at all. That issue is easily remedied by using clean fingers and/or brushes for application. The texture is creamy and smooth, and I prefer to use my fingers to melt it across my eyelids when applying. Plus, I like being able to see how much product I have left, which I can't say about either my Urban Decay Primer Potion or Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Price wise, it is 17$ for 0.25 oz which is comparable to other primers that are 18$ for 0.34-0.35 oz of product. I like the primer best with loose eyeshadows rather than pressed ones. Attached photo is of swatches of the primer (hard to photography since it's a nude color).

My new favorite primer!
I typically use Urban Decay Primer Potion and Too Faced Shadow Insurance to keep my eye makeup locked down and both products work extremely well for me. I purchased this one from Lime Crime and this is an awesome product. No creasing, sweat proof (I applied it on my brows too to keep my brow powder in place because it's about a million degrees outside now) and I was able to blend my eyeshadow easily when I applied this. The reason why it's my new favorite primer....I'm a sucker for a pretty package and this comes in a VERY pretty package. I will buy this again and will be gifting this to several ladies in my family soon.

Better than Too Faced!

This is going to sound really bizarre but this primer is better than TFSI! It makes shadows last forever, make them bright and prevent creasing. This almost eliminates the use of NYX JEP in Milk because it makes the shadows so much more pigmented than on their own! I docked half a star because mine came a little cracked :/

AMAZING PRIMER
I recently purchased this primer about a month ago I believe and I love it. I also have the urban decay primer and I find that the Lime Crime one works a bit better than the urban decay one but I love them both. It really keeps the colors vibrant and fresh looking throughout the day and night.

excellent primer
i absolutely love this primer! i won this in a Christmas contest a year ago right when i *really* started getting into make up. i knew this was a good primer, but it wasn't until i started experimenting with different primers & such, i realized what a great primer it is! it's still creamy after a year! i've discovered that i really like using it if i'm using more of natural or brown colors (think naked pallette) that really don't need a white base or especially powdery/shimmery colors. i know the shadows going to stick to the primer the first time i apply it! as long as i blend the product out well, i never have creasing & my shadow doesn't fade! not to mention the cute packaging! if you don't like the finger dipping method, i suggest investing in a tiny scrapper because this product is worth having! it was one of my first primers & it's definitely one of my favorites!
