Horrible

This product arrived fast with my other items. I usually love Inglot however the formula for this product is too soft making it hard to use, when it arrived the packaging from the manufacturer was to hard to open causing the product it self to be wasted just trying to open it, it's not worth the hassle. I've used it 5 times and found that the color was perfect for me but it made my brows look oily...

Quite disappointed

I love many products by inglot, but this one didn't make the cut. I hate to say this, but it was actually a horrible product for many reasons. First off, the color selection was quite limited. I purchased this at an inglot counter and was able to see the whole range of colors for the brow waxes. None of the colors seemed right for me (all of them were too red or dark). I was in need of a brow wax so I settled for 572, a mid tone brown with red undertones.

Second, the name is very misleading. This is in no way a brow WAX, i would consider it a gel with a very thin, creamy/wet consistency. This doesn't help guide the direction of your eyebrow hairs as the consistency of the product is so thin and cant "grab" the hairs. It also NEVER sets which becomes a problem. Since the formula is quite creamy, you risk "moving" or "rubbing off" your eyebrows if you touch your eyebrows (even after several hours after application). It also gives a very wet appearance to the brows, which isnt a very appealing look on me.

I have tried several ways of setting the brow gel, but found that the wet texture of the gel grips to any powder product and even darkens the color of the powder. Of course, I've given it another shot with a lighter color but that only turns the overall color to look ashy. The wet consistency also made it hard to blend the powder evenly into my eyebrows, causing my brows to appear patchy and uneven. Lastly, this eyebrow gel photographs horribly, looking extremely dark in flash photography. My makeup looked fine in real life, but when I saw the pictures that were taken of me, I was mortified that my eyebrows stood out so much.

Overall, a bad product. It only serves as a brow tint, to add a smige of color (that is, if you like a wet finish brow product that never sets nor photographs beautifully)

I quite like mine!

Maybe Inglot recently changed the formulation for these? Because my experience was much different than the previous two ladies who reviewed this wax. Anyway, this wax is perfect for me. The consistency is more gel-like than wax-like, but it quickly dries and keeps my browhairs in check! It's a little better than the wax that comes with the e. l. f. kit in that it is more viscous and doesn't clump or flake. Anyway, it will definitely become a staple.

Review from current INGLOT employee

This is by far the worst INGLOT product ever!!! Not because it's Inglot but because of the product itself. I don't find this to be anything like a brow gel because a wax never dries but a gel does. Whoever decided something that stays in a creamy liquid form and NEVER sets would be a great product for brows is moronic. Maybe in Poland where INGLOT is created and made in their very own state of the art makeup labs it's a popular trend to have wet messy brows but I have yet to meet one customer happy with this product.

All in all, I'd choose the E.l.f. Eyebrow Kit Any day.

I recently purchased 4 eyebrow waxes from Inglot to go into a Z Palette. For me, eyebrows are the most important part of my makeup, so I wanted to create an eyebrow palette with all different shades to take with me anywhere. Unfortunately, after buying 4 & spending about $24, I hate them. At first, I was thinking they would be like a cream fill-in, similar to my E.l.f. eyebrow kit (which is only $3 and to die for). However it turned out they are more like eyebrow gel, which usually comes in a mascara-like format.

The reason they are such a disappointment to me is because it never seems to really set. They are much more runny in consistency than I had expected, and appear like liquid when applied. To fix this, I tried powder setting them, yet they STILL appear shiny and even smudges off with the slightest touch (which is TERRIBLE for something made for eyebrows).

So in conclusion, I’d choose my e.l.f. eyebrow kit any day. It’s upsetting that I feel like I wasted twenty bucks ]:
