1- put hair in a high pony tail atop head... 2- take sock and put pony tail through it. 3- spread hair around sock evenly placed around. 4- secure hair around bun with another elastic. 5- braid extra ends of hair and secure with a bobby pin around bun.

Managed to get my hair into a successful top knot! My hair is really fine and I have a lot of short baby hairs (obviously) but with hair spray, a boar bristle brush, and bobby pins I was able to get a good top knot!

1) Gather your hair to one side or if you do the pigtails split the hair evenly to both sides 2) divide the hair into two sections 3) twist one section to the right then hold it tightly in your hand. 4) repeat step 3 with the other section 5)cross/twist the sections over each other to the left until you reach the end 6) add a hair band 7) for the pigtails repeat steps 2-6 on both sides 8) you now have an adorable easy hairstyles

This braid may look really complicated, but it's actually as simple as ever! You just have to take three sections of hair, braid each one separately, and then braid them all together! It works best on long hair.
