I got this set and a few other sets as a gift, and the colours are absolutly gorgeous, i love using the shades, and the makeup itself is very good, its pigmented and lasts a very long time, i highly reccomend this product, will be posting some of my own eye makeup looks with this :)

Better than expected

This is a really good set for those wanting to try out baked eyeshadows.

The brush you get with is, is fairy so-so, better than the typical sponge tip applicator you get in most sets. Its also very nice that you get a few ideas, with step-by-step instructions printed on inner part of the packaging.

The shadows themselves are pigmented, gliding on the lid almost effortlessly without barely any fallout. Also a majority of the colours themselves are unique or just plain beautiful.. some embedded with shimmer or faint glitter particles.

The best parts of this set though is the shadowline and the compact you recieve. It's great that the shadowline can turn just about any eyeshadow into a very pigmented eyeliner, although it can be fiddly to mixed the shadowline and shadow together. Also baked shadows do have a habit of creasing up or wearing off after a few hours wear, these are no exception unfortunately but its not a terrible thing.. as the limited edition compact comes with a handy mirror and four compartments where you can store your shadows and the brush.

This would make an ideal present for a make-up lover... I got this for my 2010 present and instantly I loved it. It costs I think... £35 from Boots, however sometimes they do offers like 3 for 2 or discounts around Christmas time.
