Best clip in hair extensions

The best clip in hair extensions I have tried is "My Fantasy Hair". I've been a stylist for about 6 years, and tried several brands on me and my clients. This brand used to be okay, but I tried My Fantasy Hair the last time, and they are wonderful. They're really thick and I haven't found anything wrong with them yet. I recommend them above any other there is. I have tried great clip ins before, but nothing like these. If you're new to clip in hair, you will really love these.

Not all real hair.

I have bought 2 sets from Foxy Locks over the past few years - the first set, I was over the moon, I was researching on hair extensions on you tube and that's where I first came across Imogen and her extensions.

So anyway the first set were great had colour 6.

I then coloured my hair and decided I would buy some fresh new extentions rather than colour the older ones.

I got my extensions quite quickly and packaged well - the price is good!

But here is the negative part and listen up girls!

This hair is part human and part synthetic - how else can Imogen have low prices for the weight she provides and still make a huge profit? But bulking up her hair with synthetic hair. Ever so slightly I must add - but there is definitely synthetic hair in there.

How do I know? Because when I went to curl my hair strands of the synthetic hair was re-coiling under the heat - natural hair does not do this. Other strands of the hair did not do this, only the synthetic hair did.

I posted a comment on Imogens you tube video and she deleted it. I haven't bothered to email customer service as no doubt I would get a shitty response. I'm not sure if I am going to purchase another set from Foxy Locks...I don't think so as I don't like to feel my money is going to someone who isn't honest.

Beautiful thick hair

I got the superior set (230g) in chestnut brown. When they arrived they looked more like a dark blonde than a light brown so I was worried they wouldn't match my hair but low and behold when I clipped them in they looked a perfect match! They are double wefted for added thickness and 100% remy human hair so felt fabulously soft and silky and still are two months later! As I have a long bob blunt haircut I had to layer the extensions so they blended well. Overall I found these extensions the best out of the many I have tried over the years and will continue to purchase at this reasonable price. Love love love them!

The worst extensions I've ever purchased

In June 2013, I colored my hair with Special Effects Cupcake Pink, which is a vegetable dye. Shortly after, I purchased the set that includes the quad weft in shade #613 with the intentions of dying it pink. When I first opened them, they felt...odd. Almost like a synthetic wig that's been worn too many times. Anyway, I continued to dye the hair pink, hoping that maybe the conditioners in the dye would help. They took the dye wonderfully, but still were dry. Long story short, I have never been able to apply heat to these extensions in fear of them just breaking. I've used rollers to style them, and they're still ridiculously unmanagable. I've tried every conditioner in the book, and these still turn to dreadlocks when I wear them. Maybe I got a bad set because no one else seems to have this problem, but I will definitely not repurchase.

Fantastic!

I recently purchased these extensions in the color darkest brown. They are beautiful, thick, soft, and natural looking! The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is because the darkest brown look a lot lighter than I expected. Online and in Imogen's videos darkest brown looks super dark and border line black which is what I wanted. Instead they look like chocolate brown, which I have purchased before in the past. It's not a big deal, it just wasn't the color I expected, but they still blend well into my hair.

These are really great extensions!!

I had extensions from hair extensions.com and they didn't last long and were terrible. These are soft and thick so they match my very thick hair perfectly! They have helped me grow out my hair easier and it's amazing 👍

I have had my CC Hair extensions for a year and they are just are gorgeous and beautiful as the first day I got them. They came with so much hair I had to cut and color them. It is such a wonderful investmet. I will be ordering more just to have as back ups of one set for curling and one set for wearing straight. They give you such gorgeous, volumized hair!

Not very soft, but they have withstood more than two years of abuse.

I have these in jet black. I have had them since August 2011 and it is now the end of October 2013. They have never been as soft as I wanted them to be, but they have always looked amazingly natural and have held up for this whole time. I can still wear them now even, they are just pretty dry and the ends have some breakage so they are about an inch shorter than when I got them. They have also lost quite a bit of hair from me not carefully brushing them and abusing them. They've rarely seen the inside of an extension case so considering all of that, I am quite pleased with them. They are still really thick and don't appear to have lost much hair even though I know they have.

Horrible extensions and service

Before I bought any extensions from Foxylocks, the service was very good with fast responding and very kind e-mails. Then I bought one pack of 120 grams and one with 160 grams. I use hair from both packs together. After a few weeks, hair from the 160 pack started to fall out. I could just touch it and I got a whole bunch of hair in my hand, and every time I brush it I can clearly see the hair getting thinner. The lower part of the hair also got very dry and damaged after just a short while, even without using any heat on it. Then, on top of this, one day I noticed something weird about the 160 pack (Imogen blonde highlights). The lower part of the hair had changed color, and turned almost grey/purple-ish. The hair from the 120 pack (caramel blonde) which I always wear together with it had kept its original color, so it can't be from anything outside. I tried to wash the grey hair as an attempt to get back the blonde, but nothing happens, the grey/purple stays. I can't use these extensions now, and my hair looks horrible with them in. I e-mailed Foxylocks about the problem, and got a reply saying I had used too much purple shampoo in the hair. I do not even own purple shampoo, and have washed the hair only two or three times together with the 120 pack. After this they stopped replying to my e-mails.

I am adding a picture of how much hair going off every time I brush it. Also you can maybe see some dark hair in there. When I first got the extensions it had several thick black and dark brown hairs in it. Not exactly very appealing, but acceptable if it had been the only problem with them.

Edit: I managed to upload a picture of the color difference instead, but I am sure you will find that interesting as well.

Best hair extensions for this price.

I always buy 16" inch extensions from Halo hair extensions. Which cost me like £40, as my hair is just above my shoulders in length. So having shorter layers make the hair look LOADS more natural. For £78 pound, the deluxe set is amazing, the weight of the hair is great, 160 grams is almost 4 times the standard weight. Look after the hair extensions, and they won't split, or break off. They're natural human hair - so if you straighten/ dye them/ curl them/ wash them 24/7 they are going to begin to look fine, and damaged. I would recommend these to anyone, and I have been wearing extensions for 6 years! These are the best yet, by far.
