Keep Me Clean Purifying Facial Wipes

Reviews

I spotted these at CVS a couple of weeks ago. I liked the packaging so I decided to try them out. I'd been using facial wipes I bought at the 99 Cent Store (for real) and they worked wonders so I figured wipes with witch hazel might work even better. Well, not really. These don't clean as well as my 99-cent wipes, and they leave behind a weird smell and a residue that I can't see, but can feel. I won't be buying this again.

LOVE the wipe, HATE the packaging

These came so close to being the best wipes that I've ever purchased, achieving the much coveted holy grail status and being on permanent re-buy. They contain witch hazel which my skin apparently LOOOOOOOVES, as I've found out only recently. Makeup comes off pretty thoroughly, it didn't irritate or sting the skin, smells refreshing like cucumbers, and they were a good size to get grime off the whole face.

Sounds pretty freaking awesome, right? What could possibly be the problem? Ugh, this really pains me because the actual product doesn't have an issue.....it's the dang packaging! The stupid flap doesn't stay closed and my wipes dried out halfway through using them! I tried turning them upside down to keep pressure so that they stayed shut, put things on top of them, but sometimes I just couldn't go through drama to keep them shut and voila, bone dry wipes that are useless at that point :(
