Great as highlighters

These are amazing as highlighters - the darker shades work well for darker skintones, but they're definitely great to sweep onto the cheeks for a great all over glow.

Love this color for highlighting! Super creamy and blend able! Very shimmery and nice. Also put face powder on your eyelids then this on eyelids, blend, powder, blend and it creates the prettiest sheer shimmer!

Great, but wears off quickly.

I also have Pink Lemonade. The colors are gorgeous, it smells great, and I love that you can use it in so many ways. It wears off within a few hours put is easy to carry around and reapply

This is an amazing product, I love it! I got it in the shade Spotlight and it's the perfect highlight for my fair skin. It's not too shimmery, so it doesn't give that over-the-top look, it can be perfectly worn on a daily basis. It's so creamy and nice, I apply it with the tips of my fingers and it's awesome. Not to mention the amazing smell!

Does not work for me

I don't think i used it correctly because i can't get this product to work for me. I tried using it as a lip product but i hate shimmery lips. I tried using it as a highlight and a blush but it looked too cakey even with a light hand. Then finally i tried it as an eyeshadow and it worked well for a base but it's not a favorite product for me to use as a base. I love the smell of this product. So in the future i will buy a lighter color because the color i got was free from referring friends before checkout. Overall, I would buy this product but only lighter colors because I am light skinned. Give it a shot because you might fall in love with it. And I am going to purchase a different color and when i do i will try it out and i will come back to change my opinion.

I also have the pink lemonade

The colors are what attracted me when I saw them in the store (not to mention the price) and when I got them home, ripped into the packaging and tried them on my hand I loved the smell and the color pay off. But, that was on my hand. Putting them over foundation...not so much. They ARE good, don't get me wrong, but I like the facial whip better. As it is an all over color stick, I think it works best when you are wearing minimal make up, no foundation and want a quick go to product. You can use it on your cheeks, lips and eyes, leaves a nice shimmer. I wouldn't use it solely as a highlight though, It does have somewhat of a dry texture ( in my opinion) and does not blend that well over any products. Basically its a stand alone, wear alone product.

Highlighter and quick-lazy alternative to eye shadow

First, I just want to say that I think this is a good purchase for a dollar. I don't use this as a blush or anything like that as some of the girls who've reviewed do. This color (PERSIMMON) is too pink and sparkly for my tan skin to use as a blush sub. I do use it as a highlighter though! I love it as a highlighter, I don't have any problems blending it out.

I also use this as a one sweep eye shadow when I'm running late or feeling particularly lazy. This color doesn't add a pigmentation on my tan eyelids so much as just brighten everything up and make me look more awake. Love it when I'm going for a natural look. It does crease, even when using a primer, I don't know how many hours into the wear as I'm usually checking 12 hours after application after sweating in dance classes. What makeup could possibly stay through all of that??

All in all, I like it as a subtle highlight and, since it helps me be lazy and that's always a plus, I would definitely repurchase (although I don't think I even use it often enough to need to). I mean, it's only a dollar! :)

good for a really inexpensive blush stick...

i was out of my tarte cheek stain, so i decided to pick this up to use as blush...although it doesn't go on as smoothly as i'd like (needs to be more creamy), and i have to rub it to make it blend well, it leaves a nice colour that lasts a good amount of time. it also is slightly shimmery...and it only cost $1.

It works terrible as a blush in my opinion, it didn't blend right. I like this product as a eyeshawdow and lip color applicator. It also brings out acne scars, therefore, I didn't like it as a blush.

Really good product hidden under hardened shell!

I basically feel the same about Pink Lemonade as I do about the Golden Peach shade all over color stick. Where Golden Peach is more shimmery gold and less peach, Pink Lemonade is way more true to its name- relatively well pigmented. It has the same scent as the other one and for me, the texture is so-so. I love creamy, silky products and this is more on the dry side. For the low price point, 1dollar at Target, it is alright. Many ELF products are cheap and not the best quality- although with any brand there are hits, and misses. I think as far as an all over color stick Pink Lemonade is better- better on the lips and cheeks because its way more pigmented. I haven't tried these on the eyes- but if I do, I most assuredly will use an eye primer or make a primer from concealer or foundation with some translucent powder to set it.

Update! I realized that this product worked better if I scraped off the dried layer on the top! Under the tough exterior, so to speak, the rich, creamy pigmented product was hiding. I love how smooth and rich this is, but I still think Golden Peach is not as good. I love the shine and that its as pigmented and sits between Revlon's Super Lustrous Matte Lipsticks Pink Pout and Sky Pink, color wise. Great on lips and cheeks. I am glad I took a better look at this. Sometimes its easy to write something off because you didn't closely examine a product and were too eager to search for something new. I think you could use this for a rocking pink shadow eye base as well.
