My all time favorite

I've repurchased this powder all the time and even if I bought another powder from another brand, I will end up getting this powder too. Yes, it cost ridiculous when there are something cheaper that works just as good or better. Honestly, this is the only powder I have that don't cake up or look powdery on me. When I first wanted a powder to set my tinted moisturizer/bb/cc cream, I was torn between this and the loose powder. They're both the same thing except in different forms. I went for the compact since I can bring it around with me with no mess. Loose powder just flies everywhere when I use them and not the most convenient to travel around with.

The powder do sets my base and gives the most beautiful finish. It isn't super matte and it gives a glow finish which I totally love. It will not control any oil. I haven't come across one that truly does. Texas is hot, people. Nothing truly last in this heat. It has never broke me out and my skin never felt like it is suffocating and no dry flakes or further drying out my skin. I highly recommend this and I know even my bestie got into it but she is using the loose powder version and she loves hers.

Best makeup setting powder ever

I was in dire need of a powder to set my makeup and I stumbled upon this online. Although some people think I'm crazy for spending more than $20 for a make up product, I am a true believer of "you get what you pay for" and this product is worth the money. It leaves my face looking matte and makes my skin look awesome. It's light and doesn't clog my pores or break me out in which i love.I even use it to set my BB cream and it works great. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

great to set foundation

This powder is very soft and for me who loves a matte finish since I have really oilier skin it definitely helps give me that look. I use it with a brush and works wonderfully. It is so light it doesn't make my foundation cakey which at first I thought it until I realized it was my studio finish concealer was the cakey item. Just need a light brush of it on the skin especially if you are using like I do Mat Lumiere. Definitely pick it up if you have oily skin and or really want to set your makeup!

Great pressed powder

LOVE!! The consistency of this powder is so gorgeous and soft. It's sheer enough to set foundation with (when used with a brush), but gives enough coverage to touch up your face throughout the day. It's not a starch matte finish, so if you have oily skin like me, a trick is to layer the product by use blotting papers first, brushing on a sheer layer of MAC Blot Powder, then lightly sweeping this Chanel powder on. This way, you take care of exsisting & possible oil, but still get this product's diffused look without getting cakey.
