Perfect shadow base/liner

I have loved the Ombre Blackstars for years but this is my first Stylo Blackstar and it does not disappoint! The crayon is super creamy so it goes on without tugging your skin, but the pen shape allows precision placement, especially under the eyes. It's blendable but sets and does not budget. It works great as a shadow base, on its own, or as an eyeliner. And the color is the most perfect coppery gold. I use with Charlotte Tilbury's Star Gold and Dreamgasm eye shadow palette and the colors and products blend together beautifully. If you're looking for that perfect copper color, this is it.

LOVE

I have been on a MASSIVE search for a replacement for my go to Bobbi Brown Long Wear eyeliner in Black Plum. I had used it for YEARS until they went and changed the formula. It now bleeds everywhere. Little did I know, this would be it!!!! This eyeliner DOES NOT BUDGE. I also love how much product you get and that it can be used as an eyeshadow as well. THANK YOU!!!!! PLEASE DON'T ever change the formula. It works!

Holy Grail Eyeliner!

By Terry Ombré Blackstars are my absolute favorite cream/stick eyeshadows, so when the Stylo Blackstars launched, I couldn't wait to try them! The Stylo I purchased doesn't have the blendability my Ombré Blackstars possess. They can be slightly smudged, but only if you work mega fast...in my case, this is a good thing because I bought the Stylo to use primarily as a liner. I have Tasty Truffle, and it's beautifully pigmented, applies smooth, doesn't tug, and best of all, it wears better and longer than ANY of my other liners (including my MJ Highliners, which I thought couldn't be beat). It doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes at all, even though it does have some shimmer. We have very humid summers where I live, I also have watery eyes and age has blessed me with terrible hot flashes. I was stunned that the Stylo stayed put on both my lash and waterlines...it didn't migrate, fade, or "stamp" onto my hooded lids. I've worn it every day since it arrived now, and I'm so excited to get all the available shades. I hope these are around for a long, long time, because I've found my holy grail eyeliner!

All my beautiful colors!

The new "Stylo Blackstars" are comparable in formula to the original "Ombre Blackstars": they have the same buttery texture that glides on dreamily and then blends and layers with incredible ease. They provide the same featherlight comfort and possess an equal capacity to outlive the wearer, leaving you with a super long-lasting, ever-uncreasing beautiful eye look which won't fade until you pick up your remover.

These are all new colors so you won't be getting anything repetitious. The biggest difference is, of course, the convenience of self-sharpening to assist you with precision work. I get that from the originals by running my eyeliner brush up and down the bullet, which works great ... but of course this will save a step.

The colors I have from this new batch are:

―#2 Purpulyn Gem: an intense blackened purple (a.k.a. aubergine), with an ultra subtle pearly cream finish. Gorgeous for eyelining, it pairs beautifully with Misty Rock &/or Frozen Quartz (from the originals).

―#3 Tasty Truffle: irresistibly deep chocolate brown, with an ultra subtle pearly cream finish. Gorgeous for eyelining, it pairs beautifully with my most beloved Bronze Moon &/or Ombre Mercure (from the originals).

―#4 Copper Crush: a warm shimmering bronze-dipped apricot. This is my favorite and I've never had anything quite like this color before, hard as that is to imagine. I think this would be a universal skin tone flatterer.

―#5 Marron Glace: a shimmering iced mocha. Pairs beautifully with #3 Tasty Truffle frome this lineup &/or the ever-bewitching Bronze Moon from the originals.
