Expensive but really enjoyable to use and wear

I really enjoyed using this product. It is full coverage and I liked using it it for minimal application . Covering up a bit of red or discoloration. I would recommend. Project panning it made me fall in love with it all over again.

Cakey

It's like a giant concealer and I prefer to use it as a concealer. For my spots, it doesn't seem to cover well at all, it's just so thick, and if I sweat or it becomes damp, it goes kind of foamy. It feels heavy and greasy but, maybe it's just my skin type.

Really does look like SKIN!

I recently picked this up in the shade Golden, which is the perfect shade for my skin. I have never come across a shade so identical to my color EVER! Perfect name for the shade as well, because my skin has a particularly warm golden yellow undertone. This foundation really is undetectable, it blends like a dream and leaves a natural skin finish, not too Dewey and not too flat or matte. Medium coverage, all though I do wish it had a bit more but it is build able without looking caked on. I do reccomend a primer with this foundation, especially in the summer time. I don't think anyone with very oily skin should try this foundation, because it is a creme, but for those with combination skin it does set well with powder. It also photographs AMAZINGLY! Perfect for when you need to look flawless and for flash photography.

Great Coverage

I really enjoy this foundation stick. It's creamy and blends beautifully. It's not cakey or drying. It's definitely a medium to full coverage. You can sheer it out using a beauty blender or buff it in for a fuller coverage. But it gives and nice slight sheen and it's long wearing.

Great

I love this products for when I want full coverage. If they do not have your exact shade, I recommend going for the lighter shade than the darker shade. Mainly because this makes an amazing concealer.

Great coverage but tends to get oily

I recently rediscovered this in my makeup drawer and I've been trying it out for the last couple of days. There are a lot of things I really, really like about it: the form is super convenient (no pumping liquid out onto your hand, etc etc), and the coverage is really great. It's very thick and creamy, and feels great to put on. I also like that it's very easy to blend out and it somehow manages to be both full coverage and natural looking. Finally, I always feel like I won the lottery when I find a foundation that's a match to my very, very, very pale skin (NW10 for MAC is almost too dark...)

The major problem I have with this foundation is that I have pretty oily skin, and after just a few hours of wear, this foundation seemed to start breaking down. I really couldn't make it the whole day without blotting, and it was really pretty bad. Even using powder a couple of times during the day the oil just seemed to really go nuts.

Bottom line: if you don't have oily skin, this is a fantastic full coverage foundation you should try! I'm going to keep trying with different primers, but sadly I'm afraid this isn't for us oily skin girls.

I have this as a part of my Bobbi Brown custom palette. I really like the finish and level of coverage but it doesn't last very well on my combination/oily skin, even when I powder my face after. I still use it, but I'm gonna try out a different foundation.

must have

i've never been a fan of foundation, so when i started working for bobbi brown and this was one of the first items i was given to try, i was skeptical. it is deemed as medium to full coverage, but when i started playing with it, i could get the most sheer finish i wanted, while still getting my skin evened out. this formula is by far the most photogenic that i have ever worn and it is so versatile as far as coverage. the foundation stick is awesome for normal women, but is also great for makeup artists who need a formula that can be used on any skin type and look beautiful in photographs.

Not worth the $41 in my opinion...

I used a Sigma F80 to apply this foundation, & I did set it with a powder. Pro’s: - Good pigmentation - Good coverage - Nice & creamy - Easy to blend - Can double as a concealer Con’s: - Clung to dry patches, making them stand out - Got a little patchy/seems to break down as the day progressed Overall: This is a good foundation, however it did not work as well for me as my drugstore Revlon Colorstay or my Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse, so I would not consider it worth the $41. I have pictures & swatches on my beauty blog here: http://shelberrycupcake.tumblr.com/post/21634713505/bobbi-brown-foundation-stick

I've never had fabulous skin, but I'm definitely a mess in stressful situations. I get incredible redness and scarring on top of cystic breakouts and most foundations just don't cut it when it comes to coverage, or completely aggravate the situation. I trust Bobbi Brown with complexion products, and I thought the heavier coverage of the Foundation Stick would be just what I needed to get me through my rough spot.

This is like a giant cream concealer, housed in a sturdy twist-up metal tube. A little goes a long way, so dabbing this on my problem spots gives me enough concentration where I need it and still enough to blend out for full coverage. It does not seem to be fragranced and smells a little oily, but the scent does not linger once applied.

This does require a good setting powder and can look oily throughout the day. Regardless, this is definitely the best full-coverage foundation I have tried so far.
