Perfect shade - bad formula

At least for my combination skin it did not work. And I tried so hard to make it work it is crackig and peels of my nose and chin area whatever I use to mix with it. I have also tried the luminous primer someone was reviewing to work, for me it did not. I have mixed it with variuos other foundations and also with sunscreen creams. The least worked the best, however with this price I really expected something much better! Sorry to say that, because I do like all of my other Becca products. The only good point on this was the shade match with my fair/light skin with olive undertone for me usually hard to achive with only one shade of foundation.

YUCKY

This shade is a light color with neutral undertone so the color for me was a nice match. I have very oily skin but have lovely soft skin with no texture issues. I expected this product to sit nicely on top of my skin and simply provide oil control with a nice coverage. Wrong, this is incredibly drying (and for an oily gal to say that is odd). It also created texture issues where there were none, caked around nose and was generally unflattering.

Obvious and flaky on skin, yellow undertone

This shade is a yellow undertone so its suited to that skin tone.

I highly recommend this primer. It is my go to. I have super oily skin and this controls my shine throughout the day. I do use more than a pea size but they give you so much product that I don't mind and the price is super afford.

Medium but build-able...

To start off I have oily, sensitive & acne prone skin, so my skin is very particular of what i put on my face. I prefer matte to semi-matte foundations and i got to say that this is one of my favorite go-to Medium coverage foundation. I've been using MUFE Mat Velvet + for years but wanted to try something new. Now, they do work the same... Same coverage, same matte finish. But, this formula is a tad easier to work with IMO. I do need to powder set/bake , as I do with ALL foundations (oily girls know what I'm talking about), but with the right primer this foundation is nearly amazing! I'm talking 3-4 good hours of no blotting, powdering or anything!! I know it seems like a short time, but my oil breaks through everything eventually!

FYI... 4 star rating is solely based on the shade range, and the REQUIREMENT of a good primer.

Decent foundation

This foundation has medium coverage either moderate buildability (not a word lol) I was expecting higher coverage, but not bad. When mixed with my tarte 24 hour foundation it worked beautifully. The color was a tiny bit darker than I was expecting but my tarte foundation is a little light so it balanced it out nicely. I am a NC 20/25 and I bought mine in Buff. If you are cool complected you might have a hard time finding a match as most of the shades are neutral to warm. On a positive note it did stay matte for a very long time and was quite long wearing. I tried pairing it with my becca illuminating primer and with my hourglass veil mineral primer and both times the foundation separated on my nose. When mixed with the tarte I didn't notice any breaking/separation. Overall I'd say it's a decent foundation but because I have to mix it with another product for it to look right it's not exactly worth the price.

Best Foundation for Oily Skin!

I have tried luxury to drug store foundations for oily skin. This is the best. Lasts for 9 hours with no blotting needed. Color is true. Awesome for sensitive red skin. You have to work it in small batches on your face because it dries quickly. Perfect flawless coverage.

Light to medium coverage, creases if not set w/ powder

This foundation is not a bad foundation, the only thing i will say is that in all honesty, if you are fair skinned but have a pink undertone, this shade which is the only shade described as having a pink undertone is still kinda yellow and a bit light for you. It's a very matte foundation, yes, but even so, if you don't set it with the lightest bit of powder, it WILL CREASE on your fine lines. Oh, and it doesn't work (at least it didn't for me) with the primer (the Becca ever matte pore perfecting primer). The foundation clings to wherever you applied the primer, in a very patchy way. It's a nice coverage though. It worked best for me with a stippling brush or a beauty blender.

Pros: -stays matte -color match is perfect -lightweight doesn't feel thick Cons: -Must layer on for full coverage -need to mix it with other foundation so it doesn't crack
