About Me
Just a wahine ('girl' in hawaiian) from the place that they love to call 'Paradise'. Yes, I'm from Hawaii and yes, it truly is paradise. Luckily for me, I get to call it 'home'. ;) I'm a filipino-american gal who is also a mother of 3, yes 3! who has an obsession with makeup. But it's more than just an obsession, it is my one true passion. Makeup truly makes me happy. Not only the makeup itself but the art of expressing myself through beauty and a world of color intrigues and captivates me. Just the sight of makeup gives me butterflies in my tummy. lol. I am also a makeup addict/hoarder. I will always be a MAC addict! However, I have ventured out into other brands such as Urban Decay, Cargo, NARS<3, Smashbox, Dior, Shu Uemura<3, Tarte, benefit & MUFE just to name a few. I have also discovered that certain drugstore brands, through trial and error, can actually do the job and are just as good as expensive high-end cosmetics. My MAC addiction started sometime in August of 2004. All it took was one trip to MAC with a friend of mine. My first purchase was Meadow, Cranberry, & Black Tied because it was a 'staple'. Shortly after, the rest was history. I was officially a MAC addict that simply wanted it all. My collection has grown since then I couldn't be happier. I am a Beautylish junkie and I enjoy meeting you beautiful ladies who share the same interest as I do. All I can say is, "I LOVE makeup!" xoxo! ;)

Are you a makeup artist?-Yes, I am a self-taught Freelance Makeup Artist in Honolulu, Hawaii.
What is your favorite eyeliner?
-That would be Urban Decay's Liquid Liner in Perversion. Very black, dries to a matte finish, easy application, what more could you ask for? Looking for a cheaper alternative? I recently fell in love with Maybelline's Master Precise Liquid Liner. :)
Do you use pencil or powder to fill in your eyebrows?
-I like to use both. Pencil to outline my desired shape and a powder with an angled brush to soften everything out. Don't forget the brow gel to hold the hairs in place!
What is your favorite MAC lipstick?
-Velvet Teddy
What is your holy grail mascara?
-L'oreal Voluminous Carbon Black! <3
