Pictorial for pin-up inspired eye look

Thought I’d share some pictures of how I do a pin up inspired eye look.

STEP 1: Prime and blend out.

STEP 2: Apply nude/peach colour all over lid.

STEP 3: Apply a medium brown and soft red with orange tones in the crease.

STEP 4: Blend out.

STEP 5: Apply white eyeshadow on the browbone to hightlight, blend out.

STEP 6: Apply liner.

STEP 7: Apply mascara.

STEP 8: Apply false eyelashes (optional).

What eyeshadow colors did you use? (or brand?) I am looking for a medium brown and a soft red (with orange tones) and a nude peach!

Hey Kim! I used the Coastal Scents 78 Eyeshadow Blush palette. It has plenty of colours, and the eyeshadows are quite pigmented, although not as pigmented as in the 88 original matte palette. And although Coastal Scents eyeshadows are pigmented, plenty of them can be quite dry and give a lot of fallout, but this doesn't have to be a problem if you know how to work around it. I'll try to attach a photo to show you which colours I used, I tend to mix in different ones.

Maybelline's Volume express rocket mascara. You're welcome to check out my review on that mascara here on Beautylish. I have had much, much better mascaras than this one. It is nowhere near my favourite one, and please remember that in the last photo I'm wearing falsies as well.
