I dabbed vaseline on my finger, rubbed off the excess, tapped it onto where the glitter was going and then applied the glitter. Though, I don't recommend that trick for long time wear as the Vaseline will smudge/rub off. For longer wear use a highly adhesive cream shadow and apply glitter then hairspray to seal. This usually works for me.

awesome. will keep that in mind. ive heard the vaseline thing before but i usually used my mac mixing medium instead because its got a similar consisteency.. but now theres TF glitter glue, i might use that, but its not as easy over a preexisting shadow =[
