i dyed my hair to get it that color.... :( it didnt work out so well.....and its already fading....and it came out too purple...any tips??

Urm... It depends on the dye you use and your hair type. If your hair is more thick and course, it will take a couple of dye jobs for it to get to that color. I had the same problem when I dyed my hair. I suggest getting it dyed professionally the first couple of times so it can set in your hair. I know that cosmotology academies, like Oliver Finley, has good prices for a cut and dye. That's where I got mine done. :)
As far as color maintanence, buying some color stay shampoo and conditioner (like Garne Frutis) will help lock in you color. Rinse your hair with COLD water instead of warm or hot water. The color won't fade as fast. Also, use product when straightening or putting any kind of heat to your hair. Helps protect against damage whilst keeping your color together. Hope this helps! Red is truely a spectacular hair color. :)

Yep I agree with what Amanda had to say. Red is by far the fastest at fading, over time though it will 'grab' better.
