I actually put a mineral eye shadow over lip balm to make the 'lipstick' color!

Thank you! You should! I love my piercing..it's the only one I haven't taken out yet! Lol...it gets in the way of eating certain things or drinking w/ straws, but other than that..no issues! :)

I do a lot of piercings for people and myself (only b/c I am a RN) so I have to ask... is it just a straight barbell vertical thru lip and what gauge is it, did it take long to heal...sorry if you can't tell I love piercings and have quite a few but this is so unique I hope you don't mine all the?. Thanks

No problem! My bf is a piercer :) Anyway, no its not a straight barbell, its a curved one..like the ones used for eyebrow piercings. it's a 16 g. IT goes clean thru the lip from the top (like an angel's kiss) and out the bottom (like a labret)..so I'm very glad that bc of that, I get to save my mouth, gums, teeth, etc.from metal damage! Already have that from my old tongue piercing :/ Didn't take long to heal. The area around the piercing was bruised for day bc it's such soft tissue but other than that, no other problems with the piercing or healing process. If you drink anything that runs, it gets in there, straws, cans, and hard round fruits are tricky to work around but not impossible. Hope that helped you! :)
