My nails are exactly that length now, but I have gel over them since my natural nails are pretty weak and wouldn't even last a day. So they are not completely "real".

Wow, it's amazing that they stay that long with just gel. my nails won't even grow long with acrylics.

I didn't even think my nails could ever possibly be that long, but apparently they can. It took around 6 months for them to grow out because I started getting gel nails with absolutely short nails and then I just couldn't make myself cut them. It's way easier to just apply gel on top than to do the whole nail, so that's a huge plus. And to be honest, I haven't had anything to do with acrylic nails so far, thinking of learning how to do them next year though.
