Girrrrrl... if your religion has taught you to fear, or pre-judge others because they are different from you, then maybe you should reconsider practicing that religion.

Where, in any religious book, does it condone hatred, or pre-judgment?? And just because your momma or daddy believe's in it, or does it, doesn't mean you have to!! No disrespect to them, or you, but didn't you know every person has their own mind to decipher things in life? It's really quite amazing to have that ability.

If you can't handle this one little photo, then you better go and try to find the "devout, religious, makeup site" (hmm, isn't makeup kinda frowned upon in most Americanized religions anyway?), because this app is WORLDWIDE, and the diversity, and love for diversity, on here is absolutely a dream come true!! If you choose to stay, get ready for a cultural overload, and keep your naive, prejudging comments to yourself next time... please =) Nothing but love and inspiration on Beautylish!! Janece: it does matter. The problem isn't that she's Arabic, it's that she's not Muslim. Educate yourself.
Shannon: Look I'm not bashing this beautiful girl. She has a good head on her shoulders. But for you to say "can people put beliefs aside" is like asking them to put their life style and something that holds so much meaning to them in their lives aside is like?? It was uncultured of me to only cite the Muslim religion. You're saying it's disrespecting many others as well, thank you for the information.

Seriously... I didn't say she was disrespecting other people beliefs either. People wear it because they feel they should not be looked on. No stranger should have the honor of looking on their beauty. They feel they should be shown for their inner beauty.
Also putting beliefs aside is the best thing. You can have a belief but don't fight over it. I've put them aside and I respect everyone for their belief. I don't bash them for it. So many wars have been started because if it. Putting aside people would be more friendly with each other.
But you know what, I get bashed all the time for what I believe but there is no point in fighting back.

Kitty, I am sorry to say you are very wrong. Musims are not the only people who choose wear a hijab. Other people of different beliefs do too. If you want to know why they wear them just comment on my profile for the rest if the information. I don't want this extremely long since it is already long.
So it is not disrespecting the Muslim faith. I'm sorry but religions and other beliefs get smashed so much. Can people put beliefs aside.

The problem isn't the makeup, that's gorgeous. The problem is the hijab resembling cloth she's using to cover her face, as people in the Muslim faith do; when she's not Muslim. It's great she apologized though. I hope more people recognize cultural appropriation where it is due.
