Homemade Makeup Swatches | Silver Cream

15

This is by far my favorite shadow that I made this weekend. It is so vibrant and so versatile. It has a very light vanilla cream color to it, with a silver undertone. But not glitter silver, just a soft haze.

I Used:
95% Rubbing Alcohol
Broken and old drugstore quads and shadows
Loose Shany Cosmetics Pigments

Love the color!! very pretty especially if being used for a candle lit highlight :). how did you do it?

It is now my favorite highlight color over my NARS Albatross. Basically take any old drugstore shadows you have laying around or loose pigments and mix them with rubbing alcohol and then fill your pan and press them! I'm going to be making a video tutorial on this, so follow or subscribe on YT to stay tuned to learn how to do it! I'm glad you like the color though, this was the hardest to make because I kept adding more colors haha!

Most definitely would love to see a tutorial! Do you make a paste and then press or leave it a little watery?

It depends on what I'm making. For eye shadows I want them to be a paste, and for face powders I like them to be a bit more watery so I can just pour them into the pan as opposed to scooping it in.
