HELP. WHAT lipsticks are good for my complexion!!!

I tried to find the best photo with good lightening to show my skin color. I'm upset because I just bought another lipstick, milanis fruit punch & it looks horrible on me so does the lipliner. idk why I keep buying light lipsticks!! what color suits me? preferably darker colors !!!? for African American people !:)
