You also have on blush, eyebrow powder, and it looks like some shadow on your eyes. I'm a professional makeup artist, and in looking at your other photos it's very obvious that this is blush and not a natural flush. You're a gorgeous girl, but don't post photos of yourself saying you look bad and then be untruthful about the makeup you are wearing.

Well you are obviously not a very good makeup artist since I'm only wearing blush and lipstick. I don't need to use foundation or eyebrow pencil really so I'm a little offended that you have gone to the trouble to write this. I have already told people I had a tiny amount makeup on so this message was really unnecessary... And just to let everyone know now why I honestly think I'm ugly. I have a counsellor for self esteem, I have had to see various counsellors in my time due to my bad past. My exs used to beat and rape me and ever since then I haven't been myself. I might fool people by smiling or posing in pictures but I'm sure many girls will know what I mean when I say it's just a mask.
(P.s. I am wearing blush. However, I do have naturally dark checks which I can easily prove by posting a picture now!) please waste your time trying to offend other people :) it seems my self esteem lessons are starting to work. Bye bye

Becca, I'm glad you're seeing someone to help with self esteem issues. I know first hand what it's like to have an ex beat and sexually abuse you. I'm married now to an incredible man, but my ex was a real piece of work as well. I truly apologize if I did offend you, that wasn't my intention at all. I do think you're a gorgeous girl as I said in my post. I have just watched so many young girls post photo after photo of themselves online and then talk about how bad they look in the photos. It makes it seem like they're looking for someone outside to validate them and let them know that they're beautiful. I just want you to own it for yourself and not look for approval from strangers on here. I noticed a trend in several of your photographs where you talked about how bad you look. Again, I apologize if my post came off as insensitive or if it was poorly worded.

Thank you very much for your apology. I guess I was a little grumpy that morning (like every other morning!) and I'm sorry for snapping. I've just been having a rough two years. My big brother died and it seems like everything went down hill after that. Sorry again.

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry Becca! Sounds like it has been a rough two years. You are definitely in my thoughts, and my prayers (I hope that doesn't come off as offensive...I know some people don't believe in prayer, but I do). I know sometimes we are much more fragile than we appear in photographs where we look so confident and bold. It goes to show that we never know what someone is dealing with beneath the surface. On a different note, I saw where you had recently lost a lot of weight. That is quite an inspiration to me!! Thanks for posting that photo. I had some medical issues recently and gained about forty pounds that I'm trying to lose. That gives me motivation! :)
