I save random cases, always thinking of how to reuse them.. I had several empty "theBalm to the rescue" lip treatment compacts.. Which they don't sell at the moment :( I cleaned it out and sanitized it, took my fav lip balm (blistex silk and shine, it took almost 2 to fill this size of compact) and a pigment (this one is MAC's "Rose" and I added some "Pink Opal", too), melted them in a metal container over a candle (just don't let it boil), and poured into the compact!! Let it cool before using! Love it!!

ps. you don't have to use the same brands that i did. And the flash made the pigment look a lil plummy. idky. it's a rosy pink with a gold sparkle..
