How do you get your water marbling to work so nicely??? When I try it turns out very thin or it doesn't spread right or when I try to mix it a little to put a design in it it just gets messed up or sticks to the toothpick I use

It all depends on the temperature of the water, what polishes you use, how quickly you work, and the size of the container you are doing it in. The water should be room temperature water (preferably filtered, like water bottle water), the polishes should have a thin consistency, you need to work quickly, and you need to use something that is relatively small to water marble in because the polish won't spread as far and it won't dry as fast. I use a glass candle holder. A shot glass will also work. :) And always wipe off your toothpick between each drag of the polish.
