Thank you for answering! Staying power is good? I've been using Bobbi Brown's black gel liner, but am curious about MAC's and Maybelline's. They're both less expensive options. I'll have to try that pen out...

The pen does tend to smudge around the corners at the end of the day, but so far the gel liner has had no smudging and is fairly easy to apply. I think the gel is a few dollars more than the pen but if you're wanting a dramatic black that will last all day I would recommend the gel.

What liner is that? It's such a deep black! So many of mine go steely grey on me...

This liner was Maybelline Master Precise liner. It's a pen, not a stick so it does have a more dramatic black. I'm using the Maybelline Gel liner now, and that also gives a deep black.
