How do you get the eye liner to show like that? What kind do you use?

I have a liner that color n used a shadow on top that same color as the liner

..how do you get the eye liner to show that way? is the type you use that helps?

I have tried to color eyeliner (white) and it never comes out as I would see it on other people, lets say for example, the baby doll eye look..that's why I am asking the questions I am asking.

Well with this I used a NYX liner in this green color ( I didn't use a white liner) n then I put the same color shadow over it to pop...n with the with underneath the eyes I like to use the white liner that Mac has, it shows up great

I asked, due to my attempts on myself not being successful. So maybe you were doing something different than I and I wanted to learn. But thank you. What do you think about gel eyeliner?
