This was done using the sponging method. There are definitely more than one way to achieve this look, but what I did was paint my whole nail black first (I got away with one coat), then, to make the pink stand out, I sponged the top half of my nail white first. Then, I sponged on the pink/black gradient, making sure I only had a tiny bit of pure pink on the sponge so that it's concentrated on the tips of my nails only. The colors were saturated enough to cover the white underneath with 2 rounds of sponging. Hope this helps!
