Getting Started with Temptu Air

Forget about the heavy, clunky airbrush makeup machines of decades past. The lightweight, cordless TEMPTU Air system makes it easy to achieve the seamless, perfectly blended finish of professional airbrush makeup in just a few minutes. Ready to get started? Charging the TEMPTU Air

Charge your TEMPTU Air before first use. Plug the USB charging cord into the USB charging port at the base of the device. The LED indicator lights above the power button will blink until the TEMPTU Air is fully charged, which usually takes one to two hours.

A full charge generally lasts about three weeks of daily use, and the LED lights will start to blink when the device needs to be recharged. You can use the TEMPTU Air while it’s charging.

Turning the TEMPTU Air on and off

To turn your TEMPTU Air on and off, just hold down the power button for two seconds.

Inserting the Airpod

Shake your Airpod well before first use. Remove the tamper sticker on the tip of the Airpod and pull off the chrome cap.

Firmly pull back on the clear loop inside to prime the Airpod before first use.

Before inserting the Airpod into the TEMPTU Air, gently open the black plug. Leave the plug hanging open—you don’t need to fully disconnect it.

To insert the Airpod, press down on the release button on top of the TEMPTU Air and slide the Airpod window-side up into the device until it clicks into place.

Using the TEMPTU Air

The power button turns the TEMPTU Air on and off and controls its airflow. Tap lightly on the button to switch airflow speeds. The LED lights indicate which speed you’ve chosen.

Speed 1: Light Air
Good for detail work, such as concealing blemishes

Speed 2: Medium Air
Good for foundation, blush, bronzer, and contour

Speed 3: Full Air
Good for highlighter and body makeup

The SoftTouch Control, the small trigger at the top of the device, controls the amount of makeup released from the Airpod. Use your pointer finger to gently hold down the SoftTouch control as you airbrush. We recommend using a very light touch.

Detaching the Airpod

Press down on the release button at the top of the TEMPTU Air. Gently pull downward on the Airpod to remove it. Be sure to close the black plug on the Airpod when you’re not using it to avoid any leakage.

Cleaning the Airpod

Occasionally, you may need to clean your Airpods to keep them in their best shape.

If you notice any makeup buildup on the Airpod’s tip, apply a few drops of makeup remover or rubbing alcohol onto the circular sponge located inside the chrome cap and gently wipe clean. You can use a pointed cotton swab if needed.

If the Airpod becomes clogged, use the pointed end of the sponge to gently clean out the opening.
