"IT'S A LIP FOCUS, PICKED OUT IN FRESH COLOURS AND WITH A FLATTER (RATHER THAN A ROUNDER) SHAPE SO THAT THE GIRLS LOOK YOUNGER MORE THAN SOPHISTICATED IT'S HAPPY AND FRESH".--CAROLE COLOMBANI for MAC Cosmetics
Carole blended MAC Matchmaster Foundation (available Autumn/Winter 2011) for matte, delicate coverage. She highlighted cheekbones with MAC Eye Shadow in Blanc Type, and swept MAC Powder Blush in Peaches low on the cheeks and back into the hairline.
Carole softly blended MAC Eye Shadow in Blanc Type into the eyelid, and blended MAC Eye Shadow in Wedge onto the inner corners and up into the brows. MAC Eye Shadow in Espresso was softly blended into the roots of the upper and lower lashes. MAC Lash 30 lashes were placed individually on bare lashes to open up the eyes without any mascara.
Carole created a number of reds for the show. For a bright hibiscus shade, Carole blended MAC Cream Color Base in Pro Virgin Isle and MAC Lipstick in Impassioned together. For a classic red lip, she applied MAC Paint Stick in Pro Basic Red then defined with MAC Chromagraphic Pencil in Basic Red. For a brick red shade, she used MAC Lipstick in Dubonnet, defined with MAC Lip Pencil in Redd.
