Hello! so the short version is I am a professional licensed Makeup Artist/Nail Tech. This page will feature my work as well as different looks I have created. My Story...

So, I have always loved makeup and all things that had to do with it or anything else “beauty world” related. I can remember always going for that bright red lipstick in my grandma’s makeup bag, or spraying myself down with my mom’s red door perfume. I was the kid who forced her little cousin(sister) to sit for hours while she did her hair and makeup, then dressed her up in my “fashionable clothes”, which were really just scarves and trash bags(new and clean ). Anyway, the obsession just grew as I got older. Starting out at a local formal wear shop and day spa was the ideal place for me. I was able to help brides and younger girls find the perfect dress and accessories for their occasions, then do their makeup. I was also able to make some friends and got into doing photo-shoots for upcoming models portfolios. I was truly loving it! But, wanting to be move to the next step of my journey and wanting to offer my clients more, I enrolled in BEAUTY SCHOOL! There I was taught the basic building blocks for my future career as a cosmetologist; hair-cutting, coloring, manicures, pedicures... Because I was still working at the Formal-wear and Day spa, my mentor(and dear friend) helped me hone my skills and I had a big advantage when I graduated beauty school! So here I was, with my license and wondering where I should go to use it. A good friend of mine recommended The Gettysburg Day Spa, and I found my second home. I have been there for about 3 years, with a period off in the middle. For what you ask... well I decided I was going to try my hand as a Realtor. It was fun and very rewarding to help families and individuals with one of their biggest investments. But, sadly it didn&#39;t fulfill me, or inspire a passion in me the way the way that the world of the beauty industry did, and so I came back to my passion and started doing what I was meant to be doing again. I enjoy going to work and I love working with all the bridal parties and enjoy building bonds with the people I come into contact with.
