Melissa H.'s (xBeginnerBeauty87x) Beauty Product Reviews
Pretty, but expensive!
I have the shade No. 6 Warm Autumn. Such a pretty color, described on the website as a warm caramel matte finish. I use this for my crease and I love it! The color goes on super smooth and blends in great. The only 2 downsides to the product, first off is the price. $15 dollars for one eye shadow is pretty crazy for me. I got this on clearance and I had a coupon, so I only paid $2.50, which is a much better price! Second, the eye shadow is kinda powdery when I put my brush in it. I can deal with it though, since I like the color so much. Would defiantly purchase more, if I could find them on clearance. =)
Use it every day!
I use this powder everyday and it's pretty good. I can't say that it provides a lot of coverage for me, but it does help my face from looking oily (I have oily skin). It can look a little powdery if you use to much, but I just use a light hand and make sure it's buffed in good. I also love how it provides additional spf on top of my other face products. Would defiantly re-purchase!
Let the scent, but doesn't moisturize.
Sometimes my lips can get pretty dry, so I'm ALWAYS on the look out for the perfect lip balm. After reading quite a few reviews of this product, I decided to bite the bullet and pay over $10 for a lip balm. I got it home expecting it to be super moisturizing and had such high expectations for it. Let me tell you, I was disappointed in all the hype. It left a pretty sheer pink on my lips and made them look a little glossier, but that's about it! I feel like after it wore off, my lips were drier than they started. I'll use it up, but only because it was so expensive.
Very pretty, but not worth the price!
I have this in Dream A Little Dream of Me, which is a sheer shimmery pink with a blue duo chrome. It's a pretty color, but it's so sheer. I know you can put it over other colors, but for the price I want something with a little (a LOT) more pigmentation to it! I don't think that I would purchase another one!
