Hey, everyone. So I was requested to do this Letoya Luckett look. It's from her "Regret" video with Ludacris when she had the purple lips and everything. I liked how unique this look was. The eyes are just played down in bronze because you know when we do the bright lips we can't do too much with the eyes. So, I have some small fake lashes, bronze eye shadow, kind of peachy cheeks and purple lipstick. So, I hope I put this look together well for you guys. I tied up and my hair and everything because in the video she tied up her hair and all that stuff. All right. So, if you want to learn how I did this Letoya Luckett look then stay tuned.
Okay, so right now I have on foundation, my eyebrows. Right now I'm going to prime my eyes with Painterly Paint Pot by MAC. I'm going to use a satin finished highlight, Vanilla by MAC, which is my fav with a Coastal Scents brush. I'm going to use a Lorac, is this Lorac? Yeah. A Lorac trio, this is their Starry-Eyed trio in Super Star. You could find this at Sephora. I'm going to use the medium brown bronze color with Sigma's 252, just like a large flat brush. I'm going to put this on my lid. And a 217 brush with the darkest brown. I'm going to put this on the outer part of my eye. So, right here. Now I'm going to take a pencil brush and the lightest color and I'm going to put this on my tear duct.
I'm going to apply fake lashes so I'm just going to really quick, I know I should do this, like, off camera but, so you guys aren't, like, "Where the heck did that come from?" Here. I'm going to let my glue get tacky, and I'm using the DUO adhesive. I'm going to use these bulk lashes that I got off of eBay. They're very natural looking lashes.
I'm going to use my NARS Laguna and Orgasm duo. I'm going to just contour with Laguna. This is a Coastal Scents brush. I'm going to take Orgasm, and this is a Sigma angled brush, because Letoya's blush isn't that noticeable but I like blush. So, I'm just going to throw this in the look. I'm going to lightly line really close to my lash line. Wow, my window's open. It's really hot in my room. So, that, you know, when I put my lashes on it won't be super noticeable. Okay. I'm going to put on my lashes really quick and then I'll be right back.
Okay, so, I put on my lashes, eyeliner, and mascara. I lined my water line a little bit with MAC's Engraved Powerpoint pencil and the mascara that I used was the Dior Show Blackout. Then I tied up my hair. Her hair's tied up, so, I don't know. I thought I'd do it to add a little more.
Okay. So, I'm letting my mascara dry and all that stuff. Last is the lips, and that's most important because the eyes are very neutral and easy but the lips are purple. So, I loved how unique that this is. I don't think I've done like a purple lip type of thing.
So this is NYX's lip liner in Prune. Prune. And NYX's lipstick in Castle, which is a purple. Okay. So, let's go ahead with the lip liner. I have Vaseline just to moisturize my lips, but I'm going to wipe away a little bit. I'm going to start on my lower lip and I'm going to fill it in also. Then my Castle lipstick. It's light purple.
All right. So, here's the finished look. I hope you all enjoyed. Rock the purple lips. Don't be scared. But just make sure when you have an intense or bright lip color your eyes are kind of played down a little bit. Thanks for watching. I'll talk to you all soon.
