In this easy formal hair tutorial (for Prom, Homecoming, Wedding, Party, Halloween, Red Carpet events and other special occasions), I'm going to show you how you can make a "old Hollywood", retro, "red carpet", vintage "Pin-Up girl" hairstyle (aka pinup) on medium long hair.

Although this particular formal loose waves hair tutorial was inspired by Christina Aguilera's love of pin up hairstyles, there are other celebrities like Gwen Stefani, Dita Von, Katy Perry, Lana Del Rey, Megan Fox, Taylor Swift, just to name a few, who also are known for them.

I'll be using a 1/2 inch curling iron on this pinup hair-do before putting the hair up in pin curls to get the authentic, true 40s and 50s Vintage/retro sexy look.
