I bought some acrylic paint at Walmart and it didn't work it was liquidy and I bought the Folk art kind with skinny brushes. can someone please help me?

Acrylic paint is thin. That's what makes it easier to use for nail art than nail polish.

What is the difference between acrylic paint and nail polish, and where can i purchase the acrylic paint and the brush you used?

Acrylic paint is much easier to work with, in my opinion. It applies much smoother and you can mix your own colors. Nail polish tends to get thick when you're trying to use it for nail art. You can purchase both the paint and the brushes at a local craft store. I got mine at Walmart. It helps if you can find the tiniest brush possible if you want to do really fine details. :)
