I am always growing as a stylist and cosmetologist. I am an Alex and Ani specialist for a beach side boutique, and I run my own freelance makeup business called Makeover Doctor. As a freelance cosmetologist and entrepreneur, I work as a skincare consultant, makeup artist, and educator. My channel name Cosmeticcouturier stems from my career and life as a former fashion/costume designer, and a cosmetologist who specializes in makeup and skincare as well. I believe everyone should have a chance to feel beautiful inside and out, and I have adopted the vegan lifestyle in my life journey. New Hair:
Mary Kate Olsen has been a style icon of mine for years. She is funky, and quirky, and I just appreciate that! I chose to go with Mary Kate Olsen's signature loose long California girl beach waves. Mary Kate Olsen's haircut has always been sassy, edgy, and modern to me. I relate to Mary Kate vs Ashley on many levels, especially as an ex bartender. I got into yoga in the ladder three years I bartended as a cleansing of what I had gone through, and ultimately it catapulted me back into a style oriented career where I found myself again. I have been looking for a long and cute haircut for months now. I wanted something modern, and fresh, and decided to cut the weight off my locks, by adding more layers, and modernizing my cut into something more modern and edgy. I left the length long. As for the color, I added more blond highlights, throughout, and focused on the fringe area, and lightened the overall crown for a more dramatic effect. I freshened up the roots and the red violet by adding low lights of reddened violet, and a few pieces of reddened violet at the crown as well to keep the hair from appearing too light or causing damage. The Gulf Coast sunlight lightens red hair to a strange strawberry blond, so it was important to keep the light lighter, and the darker tresses underneath.
