Beauty Product Reviews

A vitamin bomb for your skin

I love this product, the glow it gives and how great the skin looks and feels. You have to watch out though, since it has so many vitamins in it, you are not supposed to use it everyday, max 2-3 times a week, because when the skin receives so much nutrition repeatedly it stops making it on it's own. The smell is great and the texture is good, I mix it with foundations, sometimes I even use it as an highlighter over the foundation.

I can't live without it.

I decided to try this one out last summer when in Boston, I bought the small tube and instantly fell in love. Now I use it everyday and also on clients, I've been asking my relatives to buy it for me when they go out of the country because it's so expensive here in Iceland. I love the feeling that my skin is completely hydrated and perfect without feeling oily and "unclean" and this does that perfectly! :) I recommend this product to everyone with skin from normal to dry.

Removes everything

Great wipes, I have not found another type that works as well, they leave your skin feeling fresh and clean. They also exfoliate your skin a little with the little sugars (the rough textures is because of this) in the wipes (I like to use them to exfoliate my lips for an example). I have never had a breakout problem when using these but I just use them when in a hurry or extremely lazy or when I'm not at home, I've been told they are not meant for everyday use all the time though. You have to remember to close the package well because otherwise they dry out pretty quickly.

Great pink color

I needed a pink lipstick a while back and saw the Bombshell in a store, instantly I had to have it! The color is great, not too much and not too little, the texture is really smooth and the shimmer makes it look even prettier. I always apply lipstick with a lip pencil and if you pile the Bombshell on, you'll get super pink and hot lips, it's very versatile since you can apply just a little and just get a hint of color that's very nice and subtle.

Great product

I have the powder blush in so many shades and I'm in love with all of them, they go on nicely and are easy to blend. I always use a professional blush brush to apply to myself and my clients' faces and that also makes a difference. I just picked any color that I have but the same goes with all my colors, they are all great, sometimes you must use a matte one and sometimes you can play with the shimmered colors.

The only brush you must have in your possession

I love this brush, it's great and it's the best thing you can have to apply eyeshadow (IMHO), you can pack on so much product so easily, most MAC artist I know have so many 239s and they all agree that this brush is the must have brush of the collection. It's soft and yet stiff and does the job perfectly.

Great brush for creasework

I got this one in my kit from makeup school and I really like it. It's great for applying shadow to the crease and I also use it for blending and I sometimes use it for highlighting. It isn't exactly a must have but it's a great tool to keep in your belt.

A must have for everyone!

This beauty makes contouring soo easy, I don't know how I lived before I bought this one. I've used it everyday for a year now and it still looks the way it did the day I bought it (I clean it everyday to keep it sanitized and in perfect condition). It's so soft and yet firm enough to apply with precision and it blends nicely and I can say for sure that it's nothing like the similar looking brushes out there (I have a Crown brush that looks the same but the feeling and the application isn't the same). I highly recommend this brush for everyone out there!

Quick and easy access to all your shadows.

I would say this is a must have and I lovelovelove them! I have both the 2x2 and the 3x5 palettes and I've filled them with all my favorite colors, before I went to makeup school I only had the 2x2 palette as a MAC artist recommended that I bought one and just bought the refills to put in it since it's way cheaper here in Iceland than buying the pot type. I got the bigger one along with some more shadows in my kit from my school and I would say that one is more convenient if you want to have many shadows. I don't regret switching to pans and I will probably never buy the pot one again, I've depotted the old pots and just put magnets on the back so it looks like the refill. This gives you a quick and easy access to all of your shadows and you don't risk losing one or more pots if you're not that organized.

Great nude color for (almost) anyone

I like this one, I bought it when it first came out, wanting a pretty nude color for my lips but now I don't like the color on me anymore but I still use it on others and they love it (I prefer Creme d'Nude and Myth if I want a nude lip on myself). I've always applied lipstick with a brush and I find that I can control how "nude" the lips get with the Gaga 2. Overall a great lipstick but I probably wouldn't repurchase it for my personal collection, at least not for now.
