Beauty Product Reviews

Excellent product

Again this lip colour leans more to the orange side of red but it is a great red. It comes with a sheer gold top coat to give your lips a sparkle if you like. This is another lip product which is great for long days. You can have a subtle red thought the day and then sparkle it up for the night time. It smells a little of vanilla, I think. Not very much, it’s a very subtle smell that is only really noticeable in the tube. The red itself last for ages on application. I’ve had as much as 5 hours application without the need to reapply, drinking through a straw helps prolong the colour life.

Lambada

This is my favourite red of all time. I know many people rave about Ruby Woo and Jungle Red but this is the best for me. EVERY shoot which needs a good red I use this for. It lasts so amazing well, through drinking, eating and changing clothes, it makes life for me so much easier. It has a shine to it on application but a simple blot turns it into a matte shade to rival the Velvetines from Lime Crime. Even without a primer, liner or seal it is almost unmovable. I think that Gosh is one of those over looked drugstore brands. Their velvet touch range is amazing.

Great alternative to Grimas Highlighter

I love my Grimas Highlighter in Gold but it does assault my wallet a little. I got a small sample of the Rockeresque Hollywood and while it is not a full dupe, it is a very good (cheaper) alternative option. I works great as an eyeshadow and gives a great effect when used as a highlighter.

Perfect purple

Since I got this shade I have been addicted. It makes a brilliant blush/contour as it has only the smallest amount of shimmer and it of course works great as eyeshadow. I have found that it is sheer enough to give a 'hint of a tint' but also pigmented enough to layer up for some solid colour blocking fun. I have also experimented with this as an alternative to the 'bruise wheel' with reasonable results.

XOXO Multi Use

Since I got thisshade I have been addicted. It makes a brilliant blush as it has only the smallest amount of shimmer, works great as eyeshadow and is also lip safe which is a bonus.

So far I have used this at 3 proffessional shoots with amazing results. I have found that it is sheer enough to give a 'hint of a tint' but also pigmented enough to layer up for some solid colour blocking fun.

Amazing Highlights

I have a few of these but the PEARL one is definately my favourite. I use it in almost every shimmer look as a brow highlight. It is so pigmented and application is a dream. The smallest amount of product will last and spread as much as you need.

It can be applied very sheer or layered up to a solid.

Hit pan on 4 :)

Love it!

Normally I just use a matt ivory powder as a highlighter and really only tried this on a whim. It feels like velvet. I have never touched a powder so smooth and creamy. Honestly I could stroke it all day. It has exactly the right amount of shimmer in it so even if you put too much on you donæt end up look like a certain sparkly vampire. A small touch goes an exceedingly long way and it blends like a dream. Although it is a peach tone I have found it matches up pretty well even on heavily tanned skin and this has gone from an on a whim purchase to an every day item in my makeup kit.

Great Product

I find this bronzer to be one of the better ones around. Personally I use it as a contouring powder as it is quite matte. Easy to apply and almost no fall out. Great pigmentation and overall a good buy.

Terrible

To begin with I was impressed witht his palette. The vibrancy and colour payoff was great but skip to 3 hours later and there was no product left on my face. It creased, crumbled and dissappeared. I was very dissapointed in the MUA palettes.

Confused

I don't know why this product gets so many great reviews. I found it to clumpy, thick, difficult to manage, awfull to remove and the brush I felt was hideous. I realise that I am the minority on this but I was so very dissapointed in this product.
