Beauty Product Reviews

great product, bad packaging

for the product, it's great! i've had it for MONTHS & still have a lot left. i just use a few drops on the bottom half of my hair & it leaves my hair so soft & even frizz free. i normally have my hair in a pony tail during the week for work & it keeps my hair straight instead of giving it a bump from resting on my neck.

as for the packaging, it's a disaster. it pumps out too much product. not too long after buying it, it fell on its side. i didn't notice it right away & it leaked like crazy! even after keeping it up right, it still seeps out around the neck of the pump. a few days ago, i finally decided to transfer it to a push lid bottle to eliminate the mess. i definitely recommend putting it into another container if possible if you decide to purchase it!

cured my chapstick addiction of 15 years

i really couldn't tell you when i started using chapstick, but by high school, i realized i was addicted. my lips got dry & chapped if i didn't use it for a few HOURS. i swooped up a 4 pack of the burt's bees balms at ulta after Christmas this past year for $5. i don't know how long it took for me to realize one day...i hadn't used chapstick in weeks! i actually found myself NOT freaking out if i couldn't find any lip balm. i actually bought an extra set as a backup online & have them stored away if i ever go through the

it's not the greatest for moisturizing your lips, but they do work well! we all know burt's bees is great because they're natural & furry friendly, but they come in a variety of flavors & needs (moisturizing, medicated, SPF, etc) so you know there's one out there for you! i don't even own chapstick anymore, i just grab a random burt's bees lip balm every morning on my way out the door!

pretty pretty

a great product all around. it's not too shimmery, great for a touch of color, has a nice light scent, & uber cute packaging! although i don't think the scent really boosts my mood, i do smile everytime i look at it!

i know millions of girls swear by using zero on their waterline & i was so excited to own it & thought my life would change forever. i was disappointed! it lasted just as long as any other eyeliner i swear by on my eyes. so i will give it credit in saying it does last awhile, but i was just sad it didn't last longer.

with that being said, i do like the pencils as a whole. they're pigmented, soft, & smooth. i like taking baked & thickly lining my upper lash line, then taking a black liner & line my eyes as normal. i want to branch out & try a lot more of their colors, especially electric!

first off, anything that is animal friendly rocks in my book! (: great packaging. i love that you could mix a lot of the colors for different looks, especially in a hurry. all of the shadows are urban decays best, as usual (although i had never tried minx; i'm not a huge fan of chunky glitter). a great palette to throw in a purse/travel bag & know you have a few safe (& a few brighter) looks with you.

excellent primer

i absolutely love this primer! i won this in a Christmas contest a year ago right when i *really* started getting into make up. i knew this was a good primer, but it wasn't until i started experimenting with different primers & such, i realized what a great primer it is! it's still creamy after a year! i've discovered that i really like using it if i'm using more of natural or brown colors (think naked pallette) that really don't need a white base or especially powdery/shimmery colors. i know the shadows going to stick to the primer the first time i apply it! as long as i blend the product out well, i never have creasing & my shadow doesn't fade! not to mention the cute packaging! if you don't like the finger dipping method, i suggest investing in a tiny scrapper because this product is worth having! it was one of my first primers & it's definitely one of my favorites!

pretty awesome

i overwaxed & overplucked in my teens & i've had tiny eyebrows ever since. i bought this during a nyx sale on a whim & i'm so glad i did. i've noticed major growth in my eyebrows over the past 6 months or so of using it (i just started a second tube about a month ago maybe). there are parts where my eyebrows arn't growing back...& i don't think i was focusing on those areas a lot (above my brow bone). but i also realize they might never grow back on those parts!

but i definitely DO notice a major improvement in my brows! i don't know if i would pay $25 for this, but i would purchase it during a super good sale!

it's wand style, which isn't sanitary...but there's not much you can do about that. i notice after a few uses, product gathers up between the bottle & cap, which is easily removed by running under hot water. the product applies clear & dries quickly though!

i only use this at night on a clean face, letting it dry & careful not to get moisturizer around the area.

great product!

i bought this on sale, so i hadn't really done my research on the product, but i was not disappointed! the product goes on smooth, remind me a lot of UDPP. as long as i don't put too much on (like most primers, a little goes a long way) & blend it well, it keeps shadow in place for hours without creasing!

plus, it's hypoallergenic & cruelty free! yay safe animals! for only $7, this is practically a steal!

(i do find it hard locate the newer nyx products at my local ulta, so i do buy online, but i always wait for sales/coupon codes if possible!)

sayanythingbr00ke introduced me to china glaze & to this day, i blame her for my addiction. i love china glaze. the formulas are amazing for whatever sort of finish the color happens to be. i looove the 440 bristle brush! i know that if i'm in a jam, i can use a china glaze polish & most likely not have to worry about streaking/smudging/etc. plus, they're so easily available via internet or in stores. i don't find chipping to be a huge problem whether i use seche vite or china glaze's fast foward top coat. the price, the amazing color selection, & quality is what places china glaze in my top 10 beauty brands!

i LOVE this mascara & was thrilled when i got to pick up a second tube clearanced at CVS after my first one was running out.

i only use the dial on 2, but i feel like it's the perfect mix. it gives me a bit of volume & a bit of length as well, but nothing you wouldn't find in a typical mascara.

i think i'm more hooked on the formula. my lashes don't get that crunchy feel & it doesn't look like i have tons of mascara on, making my lashes appear more natural!

i find the wand can get a clump on it now & then (this is on setting 2) but nothing that can't be fixed by wiping it on the rim!

this is definitely my go to mascara that i will repurchase as long as they keep making it (i'm worried that it was clearanced out that might be a bad sign!).
